通过阅读，我们可以探索自我、审视内在，最终实现个人成长；通过阅读，我们可以洞察世间万物，感受不同文化、历史和思想的启迪；通过阅读，我们还可以催化创新思维，在分析、判断、理解的过程中激发灵感碰撞的火花......

Opening a good book is opening a new world.

Through reading, we can explore ourselves and achieve personal growth; through reading, we can recognize all things in the world and feel the enlightenment of different cultures, histories and ideas; through reading, we can also generate innovative thinking, and stimulate the spark of inspiration collision in the process of analysis, judgment, and understanding......

在这个五月，佛山ASJ迎来了以“读万卷书、行万里路”为主题的读书周。ASJers以一系列丰富多彩的活动，共同颂扬文字的力量，建立起师生们终身学习的良好习惯，让书香浸润校园每个角落。

In this May, ASJ-Foshan held a Book Week event with the theme of "Journeying Beyond the Pages". ASJers celebrated the power of words through a series of colorful activities, establishing a lifelong learning habit among teachers and students, and allowing the fragrance of books to permeate every corner of the campus.

书籍能够跨越语言和文化的界限，连接不同的思想。在阅读周，学校举办了内容丰富的中英文书展，从经典名著到现代畅销书，从科普知识到文学作品，从英文原版小说到漫画绘本，每一本书都等待着同学们去探索，丰富自己的知识储备。

Books are able to cross the boundaries of language and culture and connect different ideas. During the Book week, the school organized a Book fair, from classic masterpieces to modern bestsellers, from popular science to literature, from original English novels to comic books, each book was waiting for students to explore and enrich their knowledge base.

The Book donation allowed students to contribute to the library, and more deeply appreciate the importance of knowledge and the joy of sharing.

作为一个学习者社区，我们不仅希望让学生爱上阅读，亦邀请老师、家长作为神秘嘉宾走进校园，为同学们讲述她们与书籍的故事，以独特的视角和丰富的人生经验，为同学们揭示每本书背后蕴含的深刻道理，共同感受阅读的无穷魅力，共同成长、进步。

As a learner community, we not only hope to make students love reading, but also invited teachers and parents to come to campus as mystery readers to tell students their stories with books, Through their unique perspectives and rich life experiences, they reveal the profound truths behind each book, enabling students to experience the infinite charm of reading and grow together.

好书推荐环节则是展示自己阅读成果的好机会，同学们挑选出自己认为最值得推荐的好书，向老师或者同学介绍这本书的内容、特点和阅读感受，将知识不断传递，营造出良好的校园阅读氛围。

The Book recommendation activity is a good opportunity to show their reading results, students pick out the most recommendable books, introduce the content, characteristics and reading feelings of the book to the teachers or classmates, The knowledge will be passed on continuously, creating a good atmosphere for reading on campus.

伙伴阅读活动中，不同年级的同学结对在图书馆进行书籍阅读，高年级的同学在分享与教导中收获成长，低年级的同学则在陪伴与学习中获得进步。

In the Buddy reading activity, students of different grades read books together in the library, with the upper grades gaining growth through sharing and teaching, and the lower grades gaining progress through companionship and learning.

英文作品配音活动一经推出，便吸引了众多同学的积极参与，纷纷展示自己的配音才华。在这个过程中，大家不仅要深入理解图书角色的情感和台词，还要努力模仿情景语调，力求做到声情并茂。

Once the English audio book dubbing contest was launched, it attracted many students to actively participate and show their dubbing talents. In this process, not only did they have to understand the emotions and lines of the book characters, but also had to try their best to imitate the tone of the scene and try to make their voices sound as good as possible.

The English teachers will act as a judges to score the dubbing works, students who perform well will get awards, which not only allows students to exercise and grow in the judging process, but also gives them a deeper knowledge and understanding of English learning.

在阅读周每天的大课间里，同学们都可以在图书馆体验精彩有趣的阅读小游戏，如“书籍封面拼图”、“猜书名”、“百科知识问答”、“猜猜我是谁”等，让大家在轻松愉快的氛围中，深入体验阅读与知识的魅力，还能赢取奖券兑换心仪的奖品。

Every day during the Book week, students can experience exciting and interesting games in the library, such as "Book cover puzzle", "Book title challenge", "Trivia", "Guess who", etc. Let everyone experience the charm of reading and knowledge in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, and also win tickets to exchange for prizes.

书籍角色扮演是一项极具创意和趣味性的活动，大家可以穿上相应的服装和道具扮演自己喜欢的书籍中的角色，尽情展示自己的创意和才华，让校园充满欢声笑语。

Book character costume parade is a very creative and interesting activity, where everyone can put on the appropriate costumes and props to play the role of their favorite characters in the books, and show their creativity and talent to the fullest, making the campus full of laughter.
