如何帮助孩子更好地进行线上学习?

疫情期间,正常的线下教学遭到不可避免的干扰,线上教学作为替代方案,对教与学双方都是一项挑战。帮助孩子设定清晰的目标对于这个转变是很有必要的。我们可以如何帮助孩子更好地进行线上学习呢?下面是一些方法供您参考。


During the epidemic, normal offline teaching was inevitably interfered. As an alternative, Transitioning to online learning can be challenging for all - students, teachers, and parents. Supporting students and setting clear expectations is necessary for an effective transition. Here are a few ways parents can support children's online learning:

保持良好的作息习惯

UPHOLDING A ROUTINE

孩子在校的时候,他们的作息时间受到一系列规章制度的制约,这些在居家学习时是无法复制的。对于一些孩子来说,他们得益于线上学习的灵活性。但线上学习需要更强的独立性和自律性,对于另外一些孩子来说却是一个挑战。家长可以帮助孩子建立居家学习的作息习惯,更有效地管理他们的时间。


School provides students with a lot of structure, which can be hard to replicate at home. For some students, the flexibility of learning online is beneficial. However, for other students, managing this increased independence is a challenge. Parents can help children build their own routines at home and to effectively manage their time.



按时起床,吃早餐,为一天的学习做好准备。 

Wake up, get ready for the day and eat breakfast.


按照课表进行线上学习

Attend online classes as per schedule


适当放松一下,和同学朋友聊聊天,做一些体育锻炼。

Time to play, connect with friends and do some physical activities


晚上复习当天学习的内容,或者完成作业。

Revise their daily lessons or do homework in the evening.


吃完饭,享受家庭时光。

Eat dinner and spend time with family.


关灯睡觉,保证7-8小时的睡眠。

Lights out, to get 7-8 hours of sleep.

学习环境和穿着

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND DRESSING UP

研究表明,思想、身体和环境对一个人的专注能力和学习效率有着重要影响。


参加线上学习时,孩子可以在任何地方完成学习任务。而很多时候他们会选择穿着睡衣躺在舒服的床上上课。这种做法会降低孩子们的学习效率和专注度。我们建议营造一个专门学习的环境,条件许可的话最好不要在卧室,让孩子按照在学校上课时的穿着要求参加线上课堂,也有助于改善孩子的专注度和对待线上学习的态度。


Research suggests that the mind, body and environment play a significant role in one's ability to focus, be productive and learn.


When participating in virtual learning, students can complete their work where they want, and often they choose to attend their lessons from their cosy bed in their comfortable pyjamas. This is not conducive to learning and productivity. Creating a designated learning space, preferably not in their bedroom, and dressing up as they would for school can change their focus and attitude towards their day.

理解和鼓励

EMPATHY AND ENCOURAGEMENT

当孩子开始线上学习时,家长的理解和鼓励是非常重要的一环。 家长既是啦啦队,又是导师,同时也是孩子的同伴。


The parent's empathy and encouragement are one of the most critical roles when their child starts virtual schooling. The parent becomes the cheerleader, the principal, and the peer altogether.


了解孩子在课上学了什么内容,他们的感觉怎么样。尝试理解他们面临的困难和挑战。

Check-in on what your children learn in class and how they feel regularly. Empathize with them and their challenges.


认可孩子为参加线上学习和获得的其他成绩所付出的努力。

Recognise their efforts to keep up with online learning and any accomplishments.


 制定每天的作息安排和必须遵守的规定,当孩子没有达到要求时,和他们讨论如何改进。

Set routines and rules that must be followed, and discuss when children are not meeting expectations.

提醒孩子回归学习的初心

REMIND THEM OF THE BIG PICTURE AND 

WHY THEY STARTED

在不同人的眼中,学习有着不同的目的。人们或为着对学习的热爱,学习一些必要的技能,或为着进入理想的大学,达成职业目标,家族发展的需要等等目的而努力学习。


和孩子讨论他们的目标和梦想,以及他们在学校学习的知识和技能可以如何帮他们实现理想。回归初心有时可以让他们找回学习的真正动力。即使面临线上学习的种种困难,也能继续努力学习。


Education serves different purposes in our lives. Some of us study for the love of learning and to develop necessary skills. While others work hard and study to get into a dream university, achieve career goals, or support one's families.

Discuss your children's goals and dreams with them, and how their participation in school can contribute to achieving those goals. Refocusing on the meaning of our education can often remind us of what truly motivates us to study and work hard even when faced with adapting to online lessons

休息和奖励

REST AND REWARDS

定时休息是非常必要的。课间花5分钟时间在家里或者阳台活动一下,呼吸下新鲜空气,可以帮助孩子在长时间的学习后依然保持学习效率。


鼓励孩子放下所有电子设备,休息一会也有助于缓解疲劳。


每周给孩子准备一些小奖励,让他们完成一周的学习任务之余也能有所期待,看个电影,准备点他们喜欢吃的食物等也是不错的主意。


Taking regular breaks is essential.

A 5-minute walk around the house or on your balcony to get some fresh air between lessons can go a long way in working efficiently.


Encouraging your children to have some time away from any technology can also help prevent fatigue.


Plan a small reward for the week, which you can give your children. This gives them something to look forward to upon completing their goals for the week. A movie night, take out food, etc.
