CCIS地球日活动丨捡来的春天 Spring pick-up

地球日活动“Earth Day” at CCIS
时间 ：2021/4/19-2021/4/20
目的：CCIS一直以来都着重于学生的品格教育还有学术以外的发展。自2021年二月CCIS回收站的启动，学生和老师一直坚持在为环境保护出一份力。这一次我们为了4月22日的地球日，为我们的地球母亲献上一份礼物。
Purpose: CCIS has always focused on the development of character and education beyond the academics. Since the start of CCIS recycling project in February 2021, students and teachers have been persistently contributing to environmental protection. This time, we offer a gift to our mother earth for the earth day on April 22.

4月19日，本周一上午，CCIS的学生在老师的带领下，来到了新津花源镇的一处河边绿地，把长时间地里面的垃圾清理干净。学生们没有抱怨，彼此协作，并想着如何才可以多清理掉一些垃圾。
On Monday morning, CCIS students, led by their teachers, came to a riverside green land in Xinjin Huayuan to clean up the garbage in the land. Students didn't complain, but only collaborated and thought about how to clean up more trash.

回到学校后，学生把垃圾清理干净，分类，并作统计，用于隔日的数学计算。
当天下午，学生在美术老师的带领下，学习如何用废料化为艺术发声，并做出了废品艺术作品。每一件作品都包含了“地球母亲”的心声。
After returning to school, students washed the garbage, classified them, and made statistics for the next day's mathematical calculation.
The same afternoon, under the guidance of the art teacher, students learned how to use waste to ‘speak’ and make art works using only waste. Every piece of art work from the students contains the voice of the earth.

学生们最后分为两组人马，分别完成中文还有英文的写作，用于他们最后的海报制作。学生们之所以这么用心是因为他们知道他们的行为可以有机会感染更多的人。
On the following day, the students were divided into two groups, and composition were written in Chinese and English, which was used for their final poster making. The reason why students are so attentive is that they know that their action can have a chance to Influence more people.

学生们的艺术作品，海报还将会在悠方商场二楼展出，以扩大本次活动的目的和公众影响力。
Their artwork and posters will have the chance to be on a two-day exhibition in Ufun shopping mall.

教师结语conclusion
一个人，一个老师，一间学校的力量去清理环境是有限的。但是如果这股力量是被拿来影响更多人，更多学校，更多社区，让每个人都参与到环境保护中，那么这才是有效的做法。相信通过这次的地球日活动，学生们可以感悟到‘世界上本没有垃圾，只有放错地方的资源’
The work is minimal for a person, a teacher, and a school to clean up the environment. But if this power is brought to influence more people, more schools, and communities, then they can all participate in environmental protection, then that is an effective way. I believe that through this earth day activity, students can realize that "there is no garbage in the world, only valuable resources left in the wrong place”.
