2024FRC机器人比赛，深圳（南山）中加学校喜获佳绩

加拿大温哥华当地时间2024年3月2日，在刚刚落幕的2024FRC加拿大太平洋赛区的比赛中，由2021年FIRST全球唯一一个最优秀志愿者义工奖获得者、广东省科技教育宋世星名师工作室核心成员、深圳（南山）中加学校机器人创客实践室主持人、资深机器人社团导师王敏杰带领的、主要有深圳（南山）中加学校机器人社团成员及南山国际机器人社团，深圳外国语学校机器人社团成员组成的、本赛季加拿大温哥华太平洋赛区唯一一支来自中国内地的机器人队FRC TEAM 5516，无论是机器人整体设计、团队精神、工程质量，还是每场比赛成绩都特别亮眼，受到来自世界各地的、包括世界名队FRC TEAM359在内的40多支参赛队伍的一致好评和称赞。

On March 2, 2024, local time in Vancouver, Canada, in the just-concluded 2024FRC Canadian Pacific Regional competition, FRC TEAM 5516, received unanimous praise and acclaim from over 40 participating teams from around the world, including renowned teams like FRC TEAM 359. 

最终，FRC TEAM 5516机器人队从众多参赛队伍中脱颖而出，队长刘亦然荣获DEAN'S List AWARD（又称迪恩奖、迪恩名单奖、院长名单奖、或最优生奖）。迪恩名单奖是目前世界顶级名校公认的敲门砖和门票。通过本次往返加拿大温哥华参加太平洋赛区FRC比赛的的千锤百炼和洗礼历练，5516的孩子们不仅走出国门、驰骋国际赛场广交朋友，与世界名队零距离交流学习，也在与高手过招和相互切磋技艺的比赛过程中收获成长，共同提高！ 

In the end, FRC TEAM 5516 stood out from the many competing teams, and team captain Liu Yiran was honored with the DEAN'S List AWARD. The DEAN'S List Award is currently recognized as a prestigious credential by top schools worldwide. Through the rigorous and enlightening experience of participating in the FRC competition in the Pacific Region in Vancouver, the children of 5516 not only traveled abroad, competed on the international stage, and made friends, but also engaged in close exchanges and learning with world-class teams, and experienced growth and improvement through challenging matches and mutual learning.

赛事期间，好多已经功成名就、学业有成的5516退役队员飞到温哥华为5516学弟学妹帮忙示范指导，加油打气。学长学姐励志的故事对孩子们帮助很大，启迪未来，辐射传承，学长学姐们激励学弟学妹们志存高远，越飞越高。恭喜5516，恭喜所有关心、关注、支持5516成长的人们，恭喜孩子们和家长们！相信5516今后在FRC赛事的舞台上，会越走越远。

Many accomplished former members of 5516 who have already established themselves and succeeded in their studies flew to Vancouver to demonstrate and guide the younger members of 5516, providing encouragement and support. The inspiring stories of the senior students have greatly helped the children, inspiring the future, radiating inheritance, and motivating the younger students to aim high and soar higher. Congratulations to 5516, congratulations to all those who care, follow, and support the growth of 5516, congratulations to the students and parents! It is believed that 5516 will go further on the stage of FRC competitions in the future.
