Utmost Tactical Pioneer：Built Your Utopia——2024圆方全球会议正式开幕！

4月5日上午8时30分，伴随着一曲悠扬的钢琴独奏，2024圆方全球会议于深圳（南山）中加学校正式开幕。

At 8:30 a.m. on April 5th, accompanied by a melodious piano solo, the 2024 Round Square Global Conference officially opened at SCCSC in Shenzhen.

杜校首先代表中加学校对所有远道而来的圆方伙伴们表示欢迎，并讲述了本次会议主题“Utmost Tactical Pioneer：Built Your Utopia”的意义内涵，期待各国师生能在中国、在深圳、在中加学校有一次愉快、难忘的圆方之旅。

Ms. Du first welcomed all the partners from Round Square who had traveled from afar. She explained the significance and essence of the conference theme "Utmost Tactical Pioneer: Built Your Utopia," and expressed hopes that teachers and students from various countries would have a pleasant and unforgettable experience during their journey in China.

“我有嘉宾，鼓瑟吹笙”，开幕式现场，校园十大歌手的同学们带来歌曲《江南》，校舞蹈社带来了中国民族舞表演，悠扬的古风乐曲，袅娜曼妙的舞姿，无不代表着我们对各国圆方伙伴们的欢迎与热情。

At the opening ceremony, SCCSC top ten singers performed the song "Jiangnan," and the school's dance club presented a Chinese ethnic dance, showcasing ancient musical tunes and graceful dance moves, all representing our warm welcome and enthusiasm for partners from various countries.

本次开幕式，我们有幸邀请到了广东省人民政府督学、深圳市政府决策咨询委员会委员、南方科技大学研究教授、南山区教育局原局长刘根平先生，刘根平先生以一口流利、亲切的英文表达了对所有参会伙伴们的欢迎，并带来了《培养领导力：学校该如何行动？》的主题分享。

At this opening ceremony, we are honored to have Mr. Liu Genping, Education Inspector of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, member of the Shenzhen Municipal Government's Decision Consultation Committee, research professor at Southern University of Science and Technology, and former Director of the Nanshan District Education Bureau. Mr. Liu Genping welcomed all the attending partners in fluent and warm English and delivered a thematic presentation on "Developing Leadership: How Should Schools Act?"

开幕式结束后，小组领袖们设计了各自风格特异的教室，准备了多种多样的趣味活动，带领组员们开展破冰活动，完成设计本组的队旗，小组活动让来自不同国家的同学们迅速打破了陌生，结下了友好而亲切的友谊。

After the opening ceremony, the team leaders designed classrooms with unique styles and prepared a variety of fun activities. They led their team members in ice-breaking activities, created team flags, and organized group activities that quickly helped students from different countries break the ice and form friendly and warm friendships.

 “一步迈进历史，一天游遍中华”，5日下午，我们来到了承载着悠久历史和丰富文化底蕴的旅游胜地———锦绣中华，锦绣中华坐落于风光绮丽的深圳湾畔，是世界上面积最大,内容最丰富的实景微缩景区，是所有中外游客来到深圳必去之地。  

On the afternoon of the 5th, we arrived at the tourist destination of rich history and culture - Jinxiu China. Situated by the picturesque Shenzhen Bay, Jinxiu China is the world's largest and most content-rich scenic miniature park, a must-visit destination for visitors from both China and abroad in Shenzhen.

旅途中，我们以导览的方式，带领各国伙伴们一边参观以各文明瑰宝为原型的微缩景观，一边由小组领袖们进行专业又有趣的介绍，如万里长城、秦陵兵马俑、故宫、敦煌莫高窟、塞北窑洞、蒙古包等，为各国师生打开了了解中国文化的窗户。 

During the journey, we guided our international partners through miniature landscapes inspired by various cultural treasures while team leaders provided professional and engaging introductions. The guided tour included miniature replicas of cultural landmarks such as the Great Wall, the Terracotta Army, the Forbidden City, the Mogao Grottoes, the Northern Cave Dwellings, and Mongolian yurts, opening a window for international students to understand Chinese culture.

接着，各小组开展对景区游客随机采访的任务，就中国传统文化和科技高速发展这一话题，向游客们发起采访，对话中，圆方伙伴们与游客们进行了一次跨文化的交流，不仅让伙伴们感受到了不同地区文化及思考方式的差异性，也体现了本次会议国际交流这一重要主题。

Next, each group carried out the task of randomly interviewing tourists in the scenic area on the topic of traditional Chinese culture and rapid technological development. Through these interviews, Round Square partners engaged in cross-cultural exchanges with tourists, allowing them to experience the differences in cultural norms and ways of thinking across regions and highlighting the importance of international exchange at the conference.

一首风花雪月的诗篇，一台中华锦绣的盛典，夜色降临，我们观看了精彩绝伦的大型表演《东方霓裳》，中华文化从古至今源远流长，中华服饰在历史的长河中熠熠生辉，《东方霓裳》跨时空地反映了中国服饰文化的绚丽多姿，赢得了各国圆方伙伴的赞叹和喝彩。

As night fell, we enjoyed a magnificent performance presenting a poetic and grand celebration of Chinese culture. Chinese culture has a long and rich history, and Chinese attire has shone brightly throughout it. The performance vividly reflected the splendor and diversity of Chinese clothing culture across time and space, earning admiration and applause from Round Square partners of various nationalities.

每一种文化都应该被尊重，每一种文化都值得去探索，期待在接下来的活动中，我们能看到更多文化和思想的碰撞，一起实践和发扬圆方精神。
