TWIS的信念 Our Beliefs

东华文泽学校（简称TWIS）将于2019年9月份开学，届时将提供一个可容纳3，000人的K-12男女同校教学环境。我们崇尚多样性和国际化思维，关注学生在好奇心、创造力和批判性思维等方面的发展。

Opening in September 2019, TWIS will provide a K-12 co-educational teaching and learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity and critical thinking, and celebrates diversity and international-mindedness with a total student capacity of 3,000.

TWIS aims to equip all students on the journey of life-long learning with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values to excel academically and personally as they navigate the world.

TWIS engages students in a safe but highly challenging learning environment and empowers them to participate at every stage of life as brave, curious, and creative leaders with distinguished intellectual and moral character.

作为TWIS道德教育框架的一部分，K-12的学生培养出了优秀的品质，这些品质根植于STRIVE价值观中：自律、宽容、责任、正直、美德和同理心。

As part of TWIS moral education framework, K-12 students develop distinguished 

character imbedded with the STRIVE values: self-discipline, tolerance, responsibility,

Our teachers and staff

孩子们只有一次7岁、9岁或13岁的机会，所以我们必须确保他们每次上学都能获得最佳的学习体验。 我们的老师知道如何让学校的工作变得有趣又好玩，这是一件好事！

Children only have one chance to be 7, 9 or 13 so we have to make sure that they receive the best possible learning experience every time they come to school.  It’s a good thing our teachers know how to make school work fun and interesting!

我们将为孩子们提供一个让他们感到安全的环境，让他们在学习中敢于冒险、挑战自我、勇于创新和尝试新事物。我们希望我们的学生为东华国际学校感到骄傲!

We provide an environment where children feel safe and secure to take risks in their own learning, as well as challenge themselves to innovate and try new things. We want our students to be proud to be at TWIS!

我们期待学校社区的所有成员的都能与国际预科学习者培养目标同呼吸共命运。我们对每个人都抱有很高的期望，但我们也将支持彼此成为最好的自己。

All members of our school community are expected to live and breathe the IB Learner Profile attributes. We set high expectations for everyone but we support each other to be the best person that we can be.

父母是我们学习社区中不可或缺的一部分，他们是我们的合作伙伴，确保为学生提供尽可能最好的学习体验。我们欢迎家长来到我们的教师、图书馆或众创空间，也希望家长们能以演讲者的身份来分享他们在各自领域的专业知识，参与到“职业讲座”中来，甚至能邀请我们的学生到他们的工作场所，更近距离地了解他们在实际工作中的都做了什么。

Parents are integral part of our learning community. They are our partners in ensuring that children are provided the best possible learning experiences. We welcome parents in our classrooms, libraries and Makerspaces. We want moms and dads to come as resource speakers to share their expertise in their fields, participate in  ‘career talks’ and even invite our students to visit their workplaces to have a closer look at what they do in the real world.
