2022年卡塔尔世界杯是历史上首次在卡塔尔和中东国家境内举行，也是第二次在亚洲举行的世界杯足球赛。除此之外，卡塔尔世界杯还是首次在北半球冬季举行、首次由从未进过世界杯的国家举办的世界杯足球赛。

揭幕战已于北京时间2022年11月21日0点在阿尔贝特体育场开球，东道主卡塔尔将出战厄瓜多尔。

足球比赛上下半场开始时都要开球，或一方进球后另一方开球。开球时除开球一方两人外都要退出中圈，裁判哨响后由两名开球球员一名触球传给另一名开球球员，然后双方球员可以进入中圈或对方半场，比赛开始。

• The kickoff is taken from the center spot at the start of play at the beginning of each half and after a goal has been scored.

bicycle kick / overhead kick 倒勾球

倒勾就是人在腾空状态下头下脚上将球踢入球门，是足球比赛中一种非常规性的射门方式，在绿茵场上并不是经常可以看到。但是，赛场上风云变幻，倒挂金钩式的进球很多时候带来的都是关键性的得分。这也是足球运动最大魅力之一。任何一个倒勾进球无疑都是意识、灵感、想象力、爆发力完美融合的结晶，极具观赏性。

• A spectacular move in which a player jumps in the air in a backflip motion, kicking the ball backward over their head. The name comes from action which mimics their legs moving as if pedaling a bicycle.

corner kick / corner 角球

角球是足球比赛中死球后重新开始比赛的一种方法，属于定位球的一种。当球的整体不论在地面或空中越过球门线，而最后触球者为守方队员，且根据计胜规则不是进球得分时，则判罚角球。角球可以直接射入对方球门而得分。

• A free kick taken from the corner of the field by an attacker. The corner kick is awarded when the ball has passed over the goal line after last touching a defensive player. The shot is taken from the corner nearest to where the ball went out.

goal kick 球门球

球门球是足球比赛中重新开始比赛的一种方法。球门球应由守方球员在球门区，直接向球场中踢出。球门球一般由守门员开出。

• A goal kick is awarded to the defending team when the ball is played over the goal line by the attacking team. It can be taken by any player though it is normally taken by the goalkeeper.

handball 手球

手球是足球比赛时球碰到上肢造成的犯规，当守门员在禁区外上肢接触球也要判犯规（碰到肩膀不算）。

header 头球：头球就是用头部传球或控球，是足球比赛中的一种技术动作。

• Using of the head to pass or control the ball.

penalty kick 点球

防守方在本方禁区内犯规或故意手球，攻方将获得一个点球，主罚球员在禁区内直接面对门将罚球；若双方在常规时间、加时赛内均未分胜负，还会采取互射点球的“点球大战”决定胜者。

offside 越位

越位这个名词很常见，但具体规则比较复杂

• A player is in an offside position if he is nearer to his opponent's goal line than both the ball and the second-to-last opponent. This does not apply if the players are on their half of the field. An indirect free kick is awarded to the opposing team at the place where the offside occurred.

own goal 乌龙球

指本方球员误打误撞，将球弄入自家大门，不仅不得分，反而失分。

free kick 任意球

任意球是一种在足球（或手球）比赛中发生犯规后重新开始比赛的方法。

• A kick awarded to an opposition player when a player has committed a foul. Free kicks can be either direct or indirect.

hat-trick 帽子戏法

帽子戏法是指一名球员在一场比赛中踢进三个球。类似地，踢进两个叫做“梅开二度”，踢进四个则叫“大四喜”。
