Welcome to Dunearn Secondary School’s website.

To the students and parents who are new to Dunearn, welcome to the Dunearn family!

Dunearn Secondary School has a rich history spanning over six decades. Since being established in 1962, the school has grown, taught and seen many cohorts of students graduate from its doors. Since 1993, the school has been in this Bukit Batok campus This campus underwent extensive upgrading from 2016 to 2017, and today we are privileged to be enjoying a larger and more conducive learning environment. Key upgrades include special rooms for enrichment programmes, the indoor sports hall, and facilities like the ‘Black Box’ for drama and literacy enrichment.

Throughout these decades, staying consistent has been Dunearn’s focus on nurturing students to be Lifelong Learners and Caring Leaders. Our staff and teachers prioritise creating a caring and engaging learning environment for the students, running programmes and experiential learning for the students inside and outside the classroom. Together with the changing times, we strive for innovation and effectiveness, continuously improving our lesson and curriculum design. Our Food Science and Technology Programme give students a taste of and head start in this fast-growing sector. Our Community Youth Leadership programme brings students on a journey to explore and develop their leadership qualities. All these endeavours are grounded in the care and guidance of our teachers and staff, who nurture the students through their secondary school years.

This all-rounded learning environment that Dunearn Secondary offers is only possible through partnership our stakeholders. Thanks to our long history, our school has benefited from the contributions of many generations of alumni, parents, School Advisory Committees and community partners. They play an essential role in setting the programmes and direction of the school to improve the well-being of students. With their help, and with the dedication of our staff, we will continue to nurture Dunearnites to be their best while contributing back to the neighbourhood and wider community.
