与英国哈罗公学一样，无论是走读生还是寄宿生，哈罗海口的新生自进入校园的那一刻起将被分进入一个院舍，以此培养荣誉感和归属感，使他们时时为维护本院舍的名誉而努力。每个院舍都拥有特色名称、专属的代表色、旗帜、服装。这种制度下，为学生提供了个性化的学习环境；在这种制度下，教职员工会对自己应负责的学生有非常详细的了解。对于高年级学部（五年级至十二年级）的学生而言，院舍无疑是传递是他们在这座大学校里最亲密“小家庭”。
院舍在巨大的学校架构之下，建立起“小学校”的氛围。院舍制使密切个人辅导成为可能，也是联系家校的纽带，这也是哈罗办学理念的核心所在。

In this special day, we are honoured to work with Luxe Art Gallery, the outstanding cultural institution at local community, to hold the afternoon tea event themed by Education and Inheritance.

Like Harrow School in the United Kingdom, any day student or boarder of Harrow Haikou will be assigned to a certain House from the moment they get enrolled to the school, so as to cultivate a sense of honor and belonging. Each House has its own unique name, representative colors, flags, and clothing. Under this system, students are provided with a personalized learning environment; and school staff will have a very detailed understanding of the students they are responsible for. For students in the Upper School (Grade 5 - 12), the House is undoubtedly their closest family they have in this school.
The House Being the Link between Teachers and Students, Peers, Home and School
Under the school structure, the House has created the atmosphere of “small school”. The close personal counseling is also provided on the basis of the House System. The house is also the link between home and school, which is the core of Harrow's school philosophy.
Friendships Across Grades and Classes
The key advantage of the House System is that students from different grades and classes can be integrated into the same House. The House creates a "family" atmosphere for students, where senior students are responsible for taking care of younger students, setting an example for them, and inspiring students' sense of social responsibility.

Alex Ward校长深耕教育事业已超过25年，拥有利兹大学高等数学学士学位以及爱丁堡大学人力资源培训及发展管理硕士学位，并取得了基尔大学教师资格证。
在来到哈罗海口之前，他曾任哈罗北京高年级校长，并担任该校教学总监，拥有在中东、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚和中国等多个国家或地区的工作经验。
他的教育理念不仅限于帮助学生取得卓越的学术成绩，还致力于培养他们更广泛的个人发展，最终引导学生对自己的选择和行为负责，成为自己人生和未来的领导者。
杜老师在斯坦福大学获得中文教育硕士学位后，一直从事中文教学工作，具备加州公立学校中英双语教师证和国内语文和英语双教师资格证。
他曾在中美多所国际学校担任中文主任，在国内外中文考试具有丰富的备考经验。
Henman老师在英国和阿联酋拥有 10 年的教学经验，加入哈罗海口前，他曾是阿联酋政府培训专家。
Henman 先生也有大学教学经验，具备多方面发掘学生才能的能力。 Henman老师在哈罗海口负责寄宿生课外活动和日常管理，他将为我们介绍丰富多彩、充满关怀的哈罗寄宿生活。

与我们共分享，共探讨，共创造
经过数月的线上征集和精心筹备，由A4美术馆和言 艺术馆异地合作举办的《你好，见字如晤》艺术展已在海口言·艺术馆正式开幕。本次展出了38位分享者的52件作品，包括艺术家、「家庭日记」、「客厅朗读者」项目、海口哈罗学校的同学，线上参与者以及来自成都和海口的麓客。

Speakers forAfternoon Tea Event
Mr. Alex Ward has been deeply involved in education for more than 25 years. He holds a bachelor's degree in Advanced Mathematics from the University of Leeds and a master's degree in Human Resources Training and Development Management from the University of Edinburgh and obtained his teaching qualification from Keele University.
Before moving to Harrow Haikou, he was the Head of Upper School at Harrow Beijing and has also served as the school's academic director. His educational philosophy is focused on developing the student, not just in their academic endeavors but also in their broader personal development.
Ken Du
Head of US Chinese department
Mr. Du has worked in the area of Chinese teaching after obtaining his master degree in Education at Stanford University. He also has achieved the teaching credential for teaching English and Mandarin authorized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing in California of the United States and has been awarded China’s teacher certification as well.
He has served as a director of Chinese Department in many international schools in China and the United States, and has rich experience in preparing for mandarin exams at home and abroad.
Mr. Henman has over 10 years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Before being a member of Harrow Haikou, he was a training expert for the UAE government’s Supreme Education Council. Mr. Henman has also taught in British universities. Being able to discover students’ various talents, Mr. Henman is responsible for extra-curricular activities and daily management for our boarders at Harrow Haikou. He will introduce our amazing Harrow boarding life.
After the event, we will arrange an exclusive tour of the family video art exhibition Between Lines and the interactive activity themed by Fathers' Day with Luxe Art Gallery.

After months of online collection and preparation, the art exhibition - Between Lines, co-organized by A4 Art Museum and Luxe Art Gallery, has officially opened at Luxe Art Gallery at Haikou. A total of 52 works shared by 38 collectors are exhibited. All the works are provided by artists, the projects of Family Diary and Living Room Reader, students from Harrow Haikou, online participants, and collectors from Chengdu and Haikou.
