2023年3月15日，由美国人工智能研究公司OpenAI发布的人工智能模型ChatGPT--4正式发布，犹如平地起惊雷，在全世界范围内掀起一阵惊涛骇浪。2024年2月15日，这家公司研发的人工智能文生视频大模型Sora正式对外发布，让生成式人工智能AIGC再度成为世界焦点，在世界范围内引起巨大反响与讨论。
科技的进步给我们的生活带来了巨大的改变。为了营造浓郁的科学氛围，激发学生的学习的兴趣，引导学生积极参与科技创新实践和体验活动，不断提高学生爱科学、学科学和用科学的意识、兴趣和能力，于2024年4月9日，举办了华外同文外国语学校第七届校园科技节活动——“科技探索，一起逐梦”。
On March 15, 2023，the artificial intelligence model ChatGPT-4， released by the American artificial intelligence research company OpenAI， was officially released, like a thunderstorm on the flat ground， causing a wave of turbulence worldwide. On February 15, 2024， the artificial intelligence cultural and biological video model Sora ，developed by this company was officially released to the public，making the generative artificial intelligence AIGC once again the focus of the world and causing huge reactions and discussions worldwide.
The advancement of technology has brought great changes to our lives. The 7th Campus Science and Technology Festival of China Foreign Language School was held on April 9, 2024，in order to create a strong scientific atmosphere， stimulate students' interest in learning,，to guide them to actively participate in scientific and technological innovation practices and experience activities，to improve their awareness、interest,and ability of science, The theme of the activity is "Technology exploration, chasing dreams together!"

开幕式之后，科学组的老师们精心准备了23个科学实验摊位，CEP双语小学全体师生分年级轮流到操场参与这场科学的盛宴。
After the opening ceremony，the teachers of the science group carefully prepared 23 science experiment booths，and all teachers and students in the school took turns to participate in this science feast on the playground in different grades.

AI Artificial Intelligence Science Seminar
为了开拓学生们的视野，了解人工智能前沿讯息，提高科学素养，我们非常荣幸邀请到了程林教授，程林教授是广东外语外贸大学、外国文学文化研究院副教授，柏林自由大学博士，德国达姆施塔特工业大学访问学者——兼任中国人工智能学会AI伦理与治理工委会委员、广东省青年科学家学会会员等。程教授将给大家带来主题为《如何判断仿造人的机器人不是人》的讲座。
In order to broaden the horizons of students，understand the cutting-edge information of artificial intelligence，and improve their scientific literacy， we are honored to invite Professor Cheng Lin to give us a speech. Professor Cheng Lin is an associate professor at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and the Institute of Foreign Literature and Culture， a doctoral student at the Free University of Berlin，and a visiting scholar at Darmstadt Institute of Technology in Germany. He also serves as a member of the AI Ethics and Governance Working Committee of the Chinese Artificial Intelligence Society and a member of the Guangdong Young Scientists Association. Professor Cheng will give us a lecture on the topic of "How to Determine if a Robot that mimics humans is not a human".
