Spring Exploration 探春 | I-EP中小学第五届中华诗词大会

With the theme of "Spring Exploration", the contest venue were decorated by the elements of "Poetic Spring", integrating spring-related objects with students' works. Children's skillful works were admired by all the audiences including the parents and the guests who came to watch the game. The competition was not only a knowledge contest, but also an in-depth exploration of the Chinese culture.

本场活动以“探春”为主题，比赛设置和场地布置以“诗意春天”为亮点，把与春天有关的物件与学生作品融为一体。到场的学生、老师，以及观赛的家长和嘉宾们，都纷纷赞叹孩子们的巧思。这场比赛不仅是一场知识竞赛，更是一次关于中华文化的深度探索。

In the Q&A session, the participants utilized their accumulated poetic knowledge to answer a series of questions related to Chinese poetry. These questions covered a variety of aspects such as the provenance, mood, and historical background of the poems, which examined the students' ability of poetry appreciation and their cultural literacy.

在问答环节中，选手们运用自己的诗词积累，回答一系列与中华诗词相关的问题。这些问题涉及了诗词的出处、意境、历史背景等多个方面，考察了学生们的诗词鉴赏能力和文化素养。

During the competition, the contestants were either in deep thought, or wrote rapidly, showing their poetic skills and adaptability. Especially in the "Flying Flower Order" div, all contestants played well, the breadth of poetry they said was very wide including the "Classic of Poetry" and "Mao's works", which can be called a "fight of the immortals".

The audience was visibly excited by the contest, discussing answers in a low voice and applauding the participants loudly. "Relief" and "surprise" were the words they emphasized over and over again. The learning styles leveraged here help children integrate traditional culture into their lives without even realizing it, resulting in a life-long treasure to be held dearly.

比赛中，选手们或沉思、或疾书，展现出了他们的诗词功底和临场应变能力。尤其是在“飞花令”环节，五组选手均发挥出色，诗词广度从春秋到民国，从《诗经》到毛主席作品，堪称“神仙打架”。

观众们也为之激动，时而低声讨论，时而高声喝彩。“欣慰”与“惊喜”是他们反复强调的词。以丰富的学习方式，帮助孩子们在不知不觉中把传统文化融入生活中，这将会是他们一生的财富。

Besides, students from the different grades have presented traditional cultural performances, such as dancing, singing, and poetry recital.

此外，各年级的同学们也纷纷献上传统文化演出，古诗新唱，汉服秀，让人目不暇接。

Principal Huang made a speech in which she quoted the poem "The fallen petals, in return, will transform into soil to nourish the flowers in spring." to praise the hard work of teachers, and "Such kindness as young grass receives from sun can't be very repaid." to express our gratitude to parents. Finally, she praised the progress of students by quoting "Do not say that spring comes early this year, the color of spring in the coming year is twice as good".

黄彦校长也为此次活动作了总结发言，引用了诗句“落红不是无情物，化作春泥更护花”来赞美老师的辛勤付出，借“谁言寸草心，报得三春晖”表达同学们对父母的养育之恩，以及夸赞同学们一年胜一年的进步，如诗句所说，“莫道今年春来早，来年春色倍还人”。
