To strengthen the ideological and moral education of teenagers, enhance students' awareness of social citizenship, inherit the spirit of Lei Feng, enrich the campus life of Young Pioneers, cultivate the excellent qualities of dedication, friendship, mutual assistance, and progress, and enhance students' sense of social responsibility and spirit of teamwork, Huamei Foreign Language School held the "Warmth of the Wutong, Love in Huamei" themed campus charity sale activity on the afternoon of March 20. The proceeds from this event were donated to a charity organization in the name of all students.
In the preparation phase of this event, each class held a "Lei Feng Month" themed class meeting, speeches under the national flag, and various activities such as letting the members understand Lei Feng's life, telling Lei Feng's stories, and singing Lei Feng songs, to inherit the spirit of Lei Feng and to help students understand the significance of charity sales.
During their spare time, students carefully prepared charity sale posters and stalls. Class teachers collaborated with parents in class groups to strategize, gather market information, calculate cost thresholds to ensure reasonable profits, design marketing plans, attract customers, ensure non-stocking, and zero inventory.
The charity sale was full of passion, and the entire event site was filled with joy and warmth. Both adults and children actively promoted their products at various stalls, with cries and bargaining echoing constantly. Everyone showed their talents, worked together, and shared love.
At the event, stationery and creative products, specialty foods, live calligraphy, handcrafted items, dolls, and plants were all displayed, creating a dazzling scene. Items with memories attached were carefully arranged on the stalls, waiting for new owners and the continuation of stories. The members did their best to promote their charity sale items.
Through this charity sale activity, students gained a lot of rewards and skills. It not only exercised their communication and social skills but also cultivated their financial literacy. Children learned about finance, communication, integrity in business, and developed a sense of thrift, dedication, and independence. At the same time, this event also allowed parents to enjoy wonderful parent-child time with their children.
