国际文凭组织(IB)使命宣言

Mission Statement of International 

Diploma Organization (IB)


国际文凭组织的目标是培养勤学好问、知识渊博、富有爱心的年轻人,他们通过对多元文化的理解和尊重,为开创更美好、更和平的世界贡献力量。

IB mission statement The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. 

为了实现这个目标,国际文凭组织与众多的学校、政府以及其它国际组织进行合作,开发出一系列具有挑战性的国际教育项目和严格的评估制度。

To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. 

这些项目鼓励世界各地的学生成长为既积极进取又富有同情心的终身学习者,他们理解尽管人与人之间存在着差异,但他人的意见也可能是正确的。

These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

01 六大超学科主题  Six Trans-disciplinary themes


IB-PYP是一个超学科课程,我们的课程围绕六大超学科主题展开,分别是:我们是谁、我们身处什么时空、我们如何表达自己、世界如何运作、我们如何组织自己和共享地球。

IB-pyp is a trans-disciplinary course, and our course revolves around six trans-disciplinary themes.

02 PYP课程要素  curriculum elements


在超学科的探究学习中,我们要培养孩子形成对重大【概念】的理解、掌握基本的【知识】和【技能】、运用积极的【态度】、采取正确的【行动】。其实在教学过程中,我们也会充分用到PBL(project based learning项目式学习)的教学方法。老师会带领学生以项目制的方式探究一个问题,循序渐进,引导学生自己解决过程中遇到的问题。

In trans-disciplinary inquiry learning, we should train children to understand important concepts, master basic knowledge and skills, apply positive attitudes and take correct actions.


概念(一般以关键问题的形式表现出来) :是孩子们探索世界和学习世界的一种方式,并且通过实践与概念的链接来延伸儿童的探究。

Concept: It is a way for children to explore and learn the world, and it extends children's inquiry through the link between practice and concept.

知识:指任何值得学习和了解的事物,并不局限于教科书。包括学生对思想的全面理解,而不仅仅是事实知识的获得。

Knowledge: refers to anything worth learning and understanding, not limited to textbooks. 

技能:所有跨学科技能(包括思考、社交、研究、自我管理和沟通)的连续性发展对于儿童的发展都具有重要意义。

Skills: The continuous development of all interdisciplinary skills (including thinking, socializing, research, self-management and communication) is of great significance to children's development.

态度:教师要给儿童示范以及解释在PYP中列出的态度,而且当儿童表现出那些态度的时候,教师和其他儿童都应该明确表示欢迎。

Attitude: Teachers should demonstrate and explain the attitudes listed in PYP to children. 

行动:行动则是儿童自愿表现出的责任感以及他们对自身、对他人和对环境的尊重。

Action: Action refers to children's voluntary sense of responsibility and their respect for themselves, others and the environment.


03 IB-PYP课程将让孩子成为什么样的人?

    What kind of person will IB-PYP make children?

所有国际文凭教育项目的目标都是培养具有国际情怀的人,他们承认人类共有的博爱精神,分担守护地球的责任,帮助开创一个更美好、更和平的世界 。

The goal of all international diploma education programs is to train people with international feelings.

Knowledgeable:I am smart.I know about the world near and far.

Risk-Taker: I’m brave and courageous. I try new roles, ideas and strategies.

Caring: I think about the needs and feelings of others.

Balanced:I take care of my mind, my body and my feelings.

Reflective:I think about my own learning.I think about my strategies and weaknesses in a constructive way.
