“瑰丽敦煌”研学游记（二) 感悟成长 Academic Trip in Dunhuang (2) Reflections

我们因敦煌结缘，我们在一起扛过了许多艰难的瞬间：我们曾面临机票难求的局面，我们曾面临合作方收费不合理的局面，我们曾面临忘记项目发起初衷的局面，我们曾面临学术基础薄弱的局面，我们曾面临相不熟悉、不信任的局面……

到了敦煌以后，我们的体验却大大超乎预期。我们没有想到遇到了这么专业贴心的当地合作方；我们没有想到我们不用像曾经的游客那样欣赏“人山人海”；我们想到这么专业的老师给我们讲座和讲解；我们没想到……李广杏甜，但同学们的笑容更甜；莫高窟美，但是我们深夜写论文的身影更美；戈壁滩广，但同学们的心胸和眼界更广。

有太多的回忆和瞬间让我想要抓住，有太多的感动和触动让我想要捕捉。于是这一切的一切转化成了我日记本上的几篇万字雄文，我相信大家感同身受。

While preparing for the materialization of this trip, we encountered many difficulties and solved them one by one. Thanks to the considerable arrangements of our local partner, our experience in Dunhuang was more than wonderful：we even had access to such professional lectures and seminars to fulfill our academic needs. There were so many surprises, so many precious and touching moments that I wanted to capture and eternalize and which I recorded in tens of thousands of words in my diary. I am sure all of us felt the same way.  

敦煌，多么庄重，多么古雅的地名。莫高窟、飞天，各种文化符号五光十色地在我面前展开，但另外一个角色需要我替他“辩驳”几句，他就是王圆箓，王道士。王道士真的是个千古罪人吗？真的对于莫高窟只有过没有功吗？若没有他，这万卷经书怎会现于世人面前？若没有他，如今辉煌的“敦煌学”了会不会被埋在黄沙之下不见天日？

 Boasting Mogao Grottoes, Dunhuang has become a symbol of splendid cultural integration. I learned that we need look at Wang Yuanlu dialectically , the Taoist who secretly sold large quantities of ancient scriptures and documents to foreigners and caused the loss of priceless cultural relics of our country. Is it right for us to just condemn him as a sinner in history? Didn't he actually do something worth speaking highly of? Without him, we might never know the existence of such valuable relics, which accidentally survived through human protection. 

当我们问土生土长的广东人叶金盛老师为什么会选择留在敦煌时，他不假思索地回答道：“因为敦煌的壁画呀。”这份热爱与痴迷，令人敬仰。

这对于对未来十分迷茫的我有深深的启发。我认识到了：现在我还年轻，有无限的可能性，就放手去试吧！找到自己的兴趣所在，就把自己的一生投入进去吧！

When asked why he wanted to stay in Dunhuang, Mr. Ye Jinsheng from Guangzhou answered briefly: "because of the murals in Dunhuang." Such passion and love for Dunhuang is so admirable. This inspired me a lot, especially because I felt lost about my future.  I realized:  I'm still young and have endless possibilities; I should go all out to try different things, find where my passion lies, and dedicate my life to it. 

我没想到，这次的旅行路上我能学到、见到、听到、尝到、感受到那么多的东西。我能感受到独属于敦煌的一份热情、一份包容、一份质朴、一份传承。

我现在更加明白了我的渺小，我的无知。当莫高窟的特窟讲解员在谈论佛的境界、佛法的高度时，我不能理解，因为我不曾了解，我不曾明白佛教对于信仰人的意义。但现在我稍微开窍了。它能够存在，并且能吸引那么多信众去研究、去深入、去体悟，它必定有其深深的道理。我会慢慢去理解，慢慢去感受，世界又何尝不是这样呢？

    I had not expected that I would learn, see, hear, taste, and feel so much  on this trip. I could feel the passion, tolerance, sincerity, and inheritance of Dunhuang.

   Now I know more about my smallness and my ignorance. When our guide of the special caves of Mogao Grottoes talked about the theories of the Buddha and the height of Dharma, I could not fully understand it, because I had never learned about Buddhism and the significance of Buddhism to its believers. But now I'm getting the hang of it. Buddhism can come into being and attract so many believers to study, to learn more, and to understand it, it must harbor some truth about life. I will learn more about it, to understand and to feel it, through which I believe I can understand more about the world.

或许没有办法用语言来表达我内心的感慨，我知道大家肯定也都是这样。但是我由衷地希望这次敦煌研学之旅能作为在大家生命中具有巨大影响力、有很深感触的一次旅程，它更像是一本承载着敦煌厚重的历史和我们愉快回忆的书。有人可以为了兴趣爱好坚守一个地方直到老，或许这就叫做“热爱可抵岁月漫长”，与大家共勉。

No words can express what I feel about this trip, and I know you must all feel the same way. I sincerely hope that this academic trip can be a journey of great influence and significance in our life. It is more like a book bearing the rich history of Dunhuang and our happy memories. Here we met people who stick to one place until they are old for the sake of interest and passion, which inspired me a lot. Maybe that is because " Love and passion can help us forget the aging of time." 

此次研学给我的最大感受就是“充实”，到现在我都没有完全吃透这十天的信息。完备的后勤工作大大减轻了我们的疲惫感，《又见敦煌》的表演让我震动极大，特别是那句“千年也不过一瞬”，让我深入思考了关于世间万物意义的问题。而更更大的触动是：这次研学极大地增加了我的民族自豪感，在敦煌真的可以感受到中华文化的分量。

This academic trip has enriched me so much. Honestly speaking, I have not fully absorbed the information of these ten days yet. The excellent logistic arrangement greatly alleviated our weariness. The performance See Dunhuang Again impressed me thoroughly, especially the line "a thousand years is only a moment in history", which sent me thinking deeply about the meaning of everything in the world. What's more, this trip greatly increased my national pride, and I could really feel the weight and richness of Chinese culture in Dunhuang.

如此不一样的研学经历让我的学习状态改变了很多。每个地方都会认真听讲解且记录下来，而且途中还会利用碎片时间坚持背单词。项目还未结束，要做的事情还比较多，状态一定要保持下去，整个暑假都要高度自律。如果我以后碰到自己真正喜欢的东西，我要像坚守在这里的工匠学习，要以赤诚之心去热爱、耐心去灌溉。

Such a special trip changed me a lot, especially my state of learning. Wherever we went, I would listen to the explanation carefully and write it down, and what's more, I would make use of the fragmented spare time to learn new English words every day. The project is not over yet and there are still a lot of things to do. I need to maintain this state of learning and be highly self-disciplined during the rest of this summer vacation. If I come across something I really like in the future, I will learn from the craftsmenship here in Dunhuang. I will love my passion with sincerity and nurture it with patience.

这次项目一定程度上改变了我以前做事情的状态。以前我对不懂的问题往往只是试试就过去了，但这次经过蔡晗啸同学的刺激，我想我不会再浅尝辄止了，会努力把不会的搞明白。在了解了洞窟壁画的历史之后，我由衷地佩服古时工匠们的匠人精神，我想我以后做事会更加坚持，不会轻言放弃。

This project has somewhat changed the way I used to do things. Previously, I would just dig a little into the questions I did not understand. Yet, under the influence of Cai Hanxiao, I think I will not just scratch the surface again and will try to dive more into the questions I don't understand. After learning the history of murals in Mogao Grottoes, I sincerely admire the craftsmanship of our ancestors. I think I will be more persistent in doing things in the future and will not give up easily.

在这个项目中我跟同学们的友谊加深了，很多同学我平时不怎么接触，也只是偶尔听到名字，但行程中我眼中的“冷漠”却转变成了热情，甚至变成了“疯狂”，甚至变成无法用语言形容的亲热，或许这就是所谓的“患难见真情”吧。

Our friendship with each other deepened in this trip. Before this program started, I did not know everyone very well and maybe just heard of some of their names. Yet, through this trip, the "strangeness and indifference" in my eyes changed into "passion", and even "crazy closeness" that words fail to describe. Perhaps this can be called "a friend in need is a friend indeed".

我去年已经来过敦煌，感觉非常好，榆林窟和“又见敦煌”都让我印象深刻。但今年我又来了，如果问理由，可能就是热爱吧。很多地方、很多东西我都知道甚至熟悉，但这次的“深度”让我有了新的认识，让我感觉这是第一次来的。或许这就是敦煌的“瑰丽”，可以让你持续地、不断地去发现全新的“美”和“不一样”。

I had been to Dunhuang before and had a very good impression of it. The Yulin Caves and See Dunhuang again had impressed me very much. I decided to join this trip again this year, and if you ask me why, it's probably because of love. I had familiarize myself with many places and things before our academic trip, yet the "depth" of our academic trip has given me a new understanding, making me feel like I'm here for the first time. Perhaps this is the "magnificence" of Dunhuang, which allows you to continuously discover the new "beauty" and "difference".

以前我参加了不少研学项目，似乎只是为了活动结束后的一纸证书，但这次不同。我们前期投入了大量的精力去策划、去设计、去组织、去讨论， 行程中我要摄影，后期还要做纪录片。或许是因为项目的独特性，我的“耐心”被大大地锻炼出来了，我能定定心心坐下来思考问题和剪辑超长视频，心不浮、气不躁。这一品质的获得可能是我最大的意外收获。

In the past, I have participated in a lot of research projects, yet I felt I was there just for the certificates after the events, but this time is different. Before the trip, we invested a lot of energy in planning, designing, organizing, and discussing the program. During the trip, I had to take photos and make a documentary. Perhaps because of the uniqueness of the project, my "patience" has been forged. I am able to sit down for a long time to think about problems and edit super long videos without being restless or impatient. The acquisition of this quality was probably my biggest windfall.

我不信仰宗教，但本次敦煌研学让我深深地感受到了信仰的力量，它是那么神奇。一个人一旦有了信仰，他就能够在他认定的路上走得更远，不管有多艰辛，不管有多大的困难，那份信仰能支撑他永远走下去，这也是我从壁画的工匠身上看到的。

I am not a believer of any religion, but this Dunhuang trip has made me deeply felt the power of faith. It is so magical. Once a person has faith, he can go further on the road he believes in, no matter how difficult it is. That faith can sustain him to go on forever, which is what I have seen from the craftsmen of Dunhuang Murals. 

来之前我是比较紧张的，因为未曾参加过研学。但行程结束，我深深感到这次活动的巨大成功。我想没有团队的每一位，这次活动都不能这么顺利，这么出乎意料。在飞机上的惊喜，第二天在敦煌博物馆的那位老师的讲座，“又见敦煌”的演出，莫高窟和榆林窟的参观与讲解员的讲解等等，效果都出奇地好。我觉得我们十二名学生能参加此次研学真的挺有缘分的，请大家一定珍惜。我人生的这第一次研学项目真的很让我开心与难忘，感谢大家。

Before I came here, I was quite nervous, because I had never participated in any academic trip. Yet, at the end of the trip, I was deeply impressed by its great success. I think without everyone in the team, this activity could not have been so smooth and unexpectedly great. The surprise on the plane, the lecture given by the director in dunhuang Museum the next day, the performance See Dunhuang again, the visit to Mogao Grottoes and Yulin Grottoes, and the lectures given by the professional guides and so on, all was surprisingly good. I think it must also be fate for us twelve to meet in this trip and know more about each other, and we should cherish our friendship and memories here. This is the first academic trip in my life, which is really pleasant and unforgettable. Thank you all.
