Capture the Flag for Joy and Solidarity

为进一步增强班级凝聚力，加强同学间了解与合作，本周CAS设计了抢旗活动。15：00同学们陆续走向礼堂，王伟老师再次强调抢旗规则。

To further strengthen the solidarity of each homeroom and promote the understanding and cooperation among students, CAS has designed a flag-grabbing activity this week. At 3pm, the students started to walk to the auditorium and Tony Wang once again stressed the rule of the activity. It was observed that over a week, the classes put a lot of energy into the game.

大家早已摩拳擦掌，跃跃欲试。

Everyone was already rubbing their hands and itching to try.

比赛场地分两个区块：高尔夫练习场前面的草坪和赛艇码头前草坪。今年有不少新生加入，赛场上也迎来了更多狂追猛突的新选手们。

The venue was divided into two divs: the lawn in front of the golf practicing lot and the lawn in front of the rowing dock. Since we welcomed many new students this semester, there were more strong players on the playground.

本次比赛采用淘汰制，以班级为单位依次进行一对一的竞赛。

The competition adopted the elimination system: homeroom VS homeroom.

在各个班级的激烈对决中，有的班级依靠身材高大、突进迅速的成员以及令人意想不到的“偷家”(backdooring)战术，成功地在比赛中一次次晋级；有的班级同学伸手灵巧，配合得当，善于“布局”，很快升入半决赛。

In the fierce duels between homerooms, some of them successfully advanced through the competition by relying on their tall, fast-moving members and the unexpected “backdooring” tactic; some of them were quite strategic.

当然，在这个大家都竭尽全力的赛场上，美式橄榄球的激烈肢体碰撞未出现，唯有拼尽力气的拦截与绕道，为比赛增加了不少看点。12年级1班陈柏瀚同学体格健硕，如一股飓风直闯对方“球点”，灵活地抱起球就返回“大本营”，动作利落漂亮，勇猛不可阻挡。该班级一举夺下冠军。

In spite of the speed and strength, the fierce collision of the American football did not occur, only the effort and tactic to block and detour, creating a lot of excitements. G12.1 Boyham Chen, with a strong physique, ran into the opponent's base like a hurricane, snatched the ball, and returned to his home base. The action was neat and beautiful and the courage could not be blocked. The class won the championship at one stroke.

抢旗赛结束后，师生们依然意犹未尽品味着，谈论着。那充满欢笑与精力的追逐中，同学们守护荣誉守护班集体，那瞬间的支持如一股暖意，持续弥漫心间。

When the match is over, all teachers and students still hadn’t finished savoring and talking about it. In running and laughter, students did their utmost to guard the honor of their homerooms.
