SHBS分论坛圆满落幕

Sub-forum of Popular Science Star Successfully Concluded

为配合第四届ESP跨学科创新性青年学术论坛的举办，上海市科技翻译学会与华东师范大学第二附属中学、上海宏润博源学校、上海虹口高级中学等校共同举办第三届上海市科普之星云论坛暨全国“科普之星”展示活动。本届论坛以“人类健康命运共同体-探索求新-科技人文”为主题，以弘扬新时代学生创新精神、提高学生科技素养为目标，逐步形成“崇尚科学、追求科学、探索科学”的良好氛围。

It is time for 2020 National "Popular Science Star" video presentation event, which is held by Shanghai Science & Technology Translation Society together with No. 2 High School of East China Normal University, Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School, and Shanghai Hongkou Senior High School. This event aims to carry forward the innovative spirit of middle school students and improve their scientific and technological literacy, so as to gradually create a good atmosphere of "advocating science, pursuing science and exploring science" among teenagers.

2020年12月7号，第三届上海市科普之星论坛宏润博源学校分论坛圆满落幕。除了宏润博源的师生以及外校获奖选手外，本次出席论坛的嘉宾还有上海市科普之星论坛主任暨上海市科技翻译学会副理事长翁国强先生、上海市科普之星论坛执行主任兼秘书长阮俊斌先生等。

On the afternoon of December 7th , 2020, Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School Sub-forum of the Third Shanghai Popular Science Star was concluded successfully. In addition to SHBS students, faculty members of SHBS and the winners from other schools, Mr. Wong Guoqiang, Director of Popular Science Star Forum and Vice President of Shanghai Science and Technology Translation Society, Mr. Ruan Junbin, executive director and secretary of Shanghai Science and Technology Translation Society, and some other distinguished guests also attended this sub-forum.

本次分论坛由我校刘刘校长主持，共有7部作品入围现场展示环节。同学们制作的科普视频很有趣味性，用简单易懂的语言解释了科学原理。观众欣赏地津津有味，也感叹于同学们的视频制作能力和英文配音能力。上海宏润博源教学校长和科普之星论坛负责人都发表了演说，强调了科普的重要价值，以及保持好奇心的重要性。阮俊斌先生给师生们带来了《医学技术传播与应用》讲座，丰富了大家的知识。
This forum was hosted by Ms. Liu Liu, Principal of Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School, in both Chinese and English. Seven videos were shortlisted for this on-site display. The popular science videos made by the students are very interesting and explain complicated scientific theories in simple and daily language. The audience were absorbed in watching the videos and were impressed by the students’ video making and English dubbing skills. Academic Principal of Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School and the person in charge of the Popular Science Forum both delivered opening speeches, and stressed the importance of science popularization and curiosity. Mr.Ruan gave a speech on the application of medical technology, enriching our knowledge.

10年级的林夕童参赛作品是关于献血的主题，提供了科普短文及生动的视频；9年级学生崔瀚文是第二次参赛，作品紧紧围绕Covid-19主题；11年级的刘杨用视频作品展现了光合作用,给大家带来了生物学科的科普知识；9年级的陈奕帆之作了有趣的海报展示了物理中“力学”的知识；同样来自9年级的李泽锋代表团队发言，作品也是围绕Covid-19；最后一位发言的季文皓，来自9年级，展示了人工智能的视频作品。

Selina Lin, a 10th grader,presented her entry on blood donation, which included a short science article and a vivid video; It was the second time that Amanda Cui, a 9th grader, had participated in this event. She presented her entry, which was closely focused on the Covid-19 pandemic; Similarly, speaking on behalf of his team, Jason Li presented his entry, which was also focused on Covid-19 pandemic. Yang Liu, an 11th grader, brushed up our biological knowledge of photosynthesis by showing his video; Evan Chen, a 9th grader, made an interesting poster to show his knowledge of mechanics; The last speaker was Felix Ji, a 9th grader, and he showed us his entry, a video on AI.

科学，让生活更美好，更便捷！本次科普之星论坛宏润博源分论坛，就在大家的掌声中圆满落幕。
