You live in a world surrounded by art. Every tool that you use, from a toothbrush to a car; your living environments, from your community to your company building, everything contains great design ideas from artists and designers.

我们的生活中充斥着艺术设计，这也是为什么艺术设计教育越来越被重视的原因。曾今的教育理念STEM （science 科学，technology技术， engineering工程，and mathematics数学）也变成了STEAM， Art 艺术被加了进去。人们意识到了艺术对这时代变迁的巨大影响力。作为优质教育的领航者之一，上海宏润博源学校很重视学生的艺术教育。 不仅每位学生都需要上艺术课程，而且还为有向艺术设计方向发展的学生提供针对性的课程。

Art is in every corner of our life, and that is why art education becomes more and more important now. Previous STEM was changed to STEAM by adding art into it because people noticed how art has great influence on the change of the world. As one of the leading teams of high-quality education, Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan (SHBS) takes art education seriously. Not only every student needs to take art classes, but the school also offer specific classes for the students who want to take art and design as their major in the future.

双优学生作品  Double excellent art students' works 

上海宏润博源学校一直致力于给予学生最好的教育， 为学生将来的发展铺桥搭路。学校的双优艺术课程就是专门为想往艺术设计方面发展的学生们设计的。整个课程由多位专业老师设计构架而成，力求帮助学生们打好基础，增长见识，为他们将来申请艺术设计大学或学院助力。

SHBS strives to offer the best education to students and paves the way for students’ future development. The art program is designed for students who want to pursue art and design degrees. These classes are designed by several professional educators aiming at helping students to lay a solid foundation, open their mind, and provide support for students applying for art schools.

双优艺术课程设计是根据学生的发展意愿，需求，与兴趣来设计的。曾在美国公立学校执教5年的艺术教育硕士刘老师是双优艺术课程的负责人。 她负责教授学生如何使用不同的材料进行创作，如何进行创作主题构思与调查研究， 为学生的艺术设计创作打基础。景德镇陶瓷大学毕业，擅长陶艺，装置艺术，和平面设计的蒋老师负责教授陶艺技法与设计课程，帮助学生学习三维立体作品的创作。 多年动漫行业从业者李老师负责教授学生动漫设计， 帮助学生学习动漫人物设计与分镜技巧。在未来的学年里，双优艺术将继续根据学生的需求与兴趣引进更多的课程，如时装设计和平面设计等等。

SHBS art program is established based on students’ developing goals, learning needs, and personal interests. Ms. Liu who holds an art education master degree and taught in US public school for 5 years is the supervisor of this program. She teaches the media and technique exploration class which helps students learn how to use different materials and techniques to create artwork and encourage students to tap into their own talents. Ms. Jiang who graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute is good at ceramics, installation art, and graphic design. She teaches the ceramic technique and design class which help students learn how to create 3-dimentional artwork. Mr. Li who has been working in the animation industry for many years is the teacher of the animation design class. He teaches students character design and script continuity. In the future school years, double excellent art program will introduce more classes, such as fashion design and graphic design, to fulfill students’ needs and interests.

除核心学术课程外，艺术双优生每周还有14节双优艺术课，为他们的艺术创作和学习提供充裕的时间。学校还为艺术双优生准备了三种不同功能的艺术教室，为学生提供优渥的学习环境和资源。每位老师都非常尊重并鼓励学生的创作，致力培养学生成为表达自我，富有想象与创作力的创作者而不是复制他人作品的机械学习者。

There are 14 double excellent art classes each week to give enough time for students to learn and create. SHBS sets up three art classrooms with different functions to provide comfortable and engaging environments. School also provides class materials for students to use to save their troubles of shopping and carrying materials around. Every teacher respects and encourages students’ creation and dedicates himself to helping students express themselves and become an imaginative creator instead of a passive learner who copies other artists’ works.

截止2021年3月底，上海宏润博源学校的艺术方向毕业生们取得了非常大的成功。毕业生们分别被英国伦敦艺术大学，帕森斯设计学院，芝加哥艺术大学，普瑞特艺术学院，马里兰艺术学院等排名前20的艺术设计院校录取，并且多位学生拿到了丰厚的奖学金。

Until the end of March 2021, SHBS art students have achieved great success.  They got offers from University of the Arts, London, Parsons School of Design, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Pratt Institute, Maryland Institute College of Art, and other high ranked schools. Moreover, most of students got great amount of scholarship from those schools.
