During the week of 27 March, SHBS students will embark on a range of intensive inquiry- and project-based learning programs that take them out of traditional classrooms and into the amazing city they call home. For this third year of Building Shanghai, the program theme is Future Shanghai—how will life unfold after Covid, shaped by new technologies, climate change, migration, innovation, and more.

在3月27日这一周，上海宏润博源学校的学生将走出教室，走进上海这座神奇的城市，开展一系列基于研究项目的探究式学习。今年是我们建设上海项目开展的第三年，主题是建设“未来”上海——后疫情时代，在新技术、气候变化、人口流动、创新等因素的影响下上海的方方面面将会如何发展。

建设上海2021回顾

Every group will explore an essential aspect of Shanghai’s economy and culture, with a focus on how creative and forward-looking individuals, organizations, and companies are planning for the future—with topics including The Future of Work, Habitat Conservation, Senior Care and Demography, Innovative Travel, and Future Fashion.

每个小组都会探索上海经济和文化的一个重要方面，专注于了解有创造力，有前瞻性的个体、组织和公司是如何规划未来的，探讨的话题包含未来的工作空间、栖息地保护、老年人人口结构和护理研究、创新旅行方式探究、未来时尚等。

Students will understand how social and economic forces, both local and global, interact to shape the world in which they live. They’ll do research, visit businesses, and speak with scholars and professionals from Shanghai and around the world—asking questions of people engaged in a wide range of work to better understand how their learning in school can connect to real-world challenges.

在此过程中，同学们将深入了解当地和全球的社会和经济力量是如何相互作用并塑造他们所生活的世界的。他们将做调研，参观企业，与来自上海和世界各地的学者和专业人士对话，向从事不同工作的人们提问，以便更好地理解他们在学校的学习是如何与现实世界的挑战相关联的。

Students will develop their own purpose and vision and use their inquiries to create a dynamic presentation to the SHBS community, which, collectively, answer the question of what’s needed to sustain the ongoing project of “Building Shanghai.”

在调查研究的过程中，学生会不断拓展自己的意义和愿景边界，并通过自己的探究来为社区呈现生动的展示, 所有这些努力共同回答一个问题：为了建设上海，我们需要做些什么？
