Event Review丨家长课堂: A Successful UISZ Workshop Day

The recently held workshop day at UISZ proved to be an insightful and engaging event, providing valuable perspectives on various facets of education.

最近在UISZ举办的家长课堂日是一次思想的拓展，同理心的深化以及视野的开拓。

The morning sessions delved into Design Thinking, with our teachers offering unique perspectives and hands-on experiences. Year 5 Homeroom teacher and Design teacher further enriched the morning, discussing Action and Agency in the PYP and Grading in the MYP, respectively.

The midday sessions transitioned seamlessly into preparations for advanced academic stages. DP and DSE coordinators shared valuable insights into preparing for a successful DP and DSE, respectively, catering to the needs of students approaching critical milestones in their education journey.

The afternoon unfolded with workshops targeting specific areas of student development. Ms. Tara's session on Writing Development and the Writer’s Workshop Approach provided practical tools for fostering literacy skills. Ms. Lindsey's workshop, focused on Partnering for Student Well-being, offered crucial strategies for collaboration between parents and schools in ensuring the holistic well-being of students.

The day concluded with a guided exploration of the new campus, showcasing the innovative facilities and natural surroundings that contribute to a conducive learning environment.
