寓教于乐！BCIS二年级数学活动——市集中的交易

本次数学活动的主要目的是让学生练习和展示以前学过的相关语言和技能，如交换和数钱，以及使用加减法策略在“真实世界”环境中还原出真正的数字金钱交易场景。

在活动现场中，孩子们拿着“道具钱”在各个摊位中买卖商品，真实还原现实生活中的交易场景，玩的不亦乐乎！

下面我们一起来回顾一下本次有趣的数学活动吧！

本次「如何使用金钱」活动以市集交易的形式举行。

在教室里，每个学生会把他们的桌子设置成一个商店/摊位，展示所有的物品，并使用老师提供的“纸币”来完成交易。

学生需要准备他们想要出售的物品，清楚地标记他们的价格标签，包括美元和美分的金额。

老师将扮演一个“银行”的角色，如果学生没有足够的钱来出售或购买，他们可以去兑换不同面额的货币。

最后,学生将在活动结束后把钱带回家,并鼓励学生用这笔钱与家人和朋友模拟这一活动,以便进一步练习和加强主题.

本次活动很好地锻炼了孩子的金钱运用能力。包括对纸币金额的理解、换算以及加减乘除基础运算的处理！

Target content: Using money.

Materials needed: Fake money and various items provided by students to be sold/purchased.

Main objective: Students must demonstrate their ability to effectively use money in a ‘real life’ situation.

The purpose of this math activity is to allow students to practice and demonstrate previously learned related language and skills such as exchanging and counting money, as well as using addition & subtraction strategies to give correct change in a ‘real world’ environment.

Students are required to prepare items they would like to sell by clearly labelling them with a price tag which consists of a dollar and cent amount. In the classroom, each student will set-up their desk as a shop/stall with all items on display and use the ‘fake money’ provided by teachers to complete their transactions.Teachers will act as a ‘bank’ where students can go to exchange money to different denominations if they do not have the correct amount of money for their sale or purchase. 

Finally, students will take their money home after the activity and are encouraged to use it to simulate this activity with family members and friends for further practice and re-enforcement of the topic.

Note: The fake money will represent real money but will have the students’ faces rather than American presidents’ faces to add an element of interest and fun to the activity.
