三月沐风，BCIS邀你来参加阅读挑战Reading Challenge Month

为了苏斯博士3月2日的生日，我们以全新的阅读挑战拉开了这个月的序幕！

3月1日-3月26日

在这个月里，我们鼓励BCIS的同学们在规定的时间完成50本书籍的阅读，并在一个特别的阅读日志中记录他们的阅读本数！

在3月29日的时候，将会有一个特别的集会为阅读35本以上书籍的孩子们提供奖品和奖励！

在2020年11月份的阅读挑战月中，BCIS的孩子们总共阅读了300本书，我们希望能够在这次挑战月中超越之前的数字。

The month of March is Reading Month at BCIS! In celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday on March 2, we kicked off the month with an all-new Reading Challenge! 

1st March- 26th March

Students are encouraged to read from March 1 to March 26 and to document their reading on a special Reading Log. 

Students who read 35 books or more will be eligible to receive special prizes such as English and Chinese language books, writing kits, highlighter markers, and many special "Mystery Prizes" to be handed out at a special assembly on March 29. 

 During our last Reading Challenge in November, BCIS students combined to read over 3,000 books! We are hoping to surpass that number this time around.

Challenge description

1.可以阅读任何类型或语言的书籍。
2.较大的章节书可以算作多本书（通常50页阅读=1本书）
3.学前班LTC和1年级的孩子，父母与孩子进行亲子阅读的每一本书也可算为孩子的成绩。

1. Students may read any genre and/or language that they want. 
2.Larger, chapter books may count as multiple books (typically 50 pages read = 1 book).
3.For students in Grades LTC to Grade 2, they may count any books that are read to them as well. 

快闪校园书店

除了在学校进行阅读挑战之外，我们还会举办一场“快闪校园书店”，把书店搬到校园内，让家长和学生有更方便的方式了解和购买最新的原版图书。

这次书展，我们为学生提供了丰富的原版图书，包括获奖图书、畅销系列、经典读物、参考书和最新的小说、漫画和科普读物等等。所有的图书均来自优秀的出版社，以求为学生提供既有趣又符合阅读水平的读物。

书展团队会在书展上与学生和家长面对面亲切交流，也会给与相关的图书推荐，务求让每个孩子都能找到适合的图书。书展的吉祥物—小爱可也会在书展中亮相，为学生派发优惠券和小礼物。

In addition to the reading challenge at school, we will also hold a "pop-up campus bookstore" to move the bookstore to the campus, so that parents and students have a more convenient way to understand and purchase the latest original books.

It provides a visual and convenient way for students, parents and teachers to know and purchase more new books.
This pop-up campus bookstore offer various titles with selections from award winning books, favorite series, classics, reference books, and the latest fiction and non-fiction books that are from different publishers.
