转眼间严冬已逝，春天已悄悄地来到了人间。春天，是美好的季节，是充满诗情的季节。“一年之计在于春”，正如这句谚语所说，春天是四季中最美好的季节，它代表着一年新的开始，草长莺飞、耕耘播种。

BCIS曦城协同国际学校也在这个充满希望的季节摩拳擦掌，迫不及待地与家长学生分享我们三四月的活动计划！

In a blink of an eye, the severe winter has passed, and spring comes to the world. Spring is both beautiful and full of poetry."The plan for a year lies in spring." As this proverb says, spring is the most beautiful of the four seasons. It represents the beginning of a new year. The grass grows, the warblers fly, and the seeds are cultivated.

BCIS is also gearing up in this hopeful season and can’t wait to share our March and April event plans with parents and students!

个性展示周
Spirit Week

时间：3月22日-3月26日

Date：22nd March-26th March

个性展示周是整个学年的指定活动，这个活动是让每个学生从每天千篇一律的校服中得到休息。通过班级竞争赢得最具学校创意称号的班级，还将获得令人垂涎的、魔力四射的魔法权杖，与此同时，全员可以参加披萨派对！个性展示周已经成为学生们备受期待的BCIS校园活动之一！

Spirit Weeks are designated throughout the school year as a way for everyone to come together, to get involved in something fun and interesting, and give everyone a break from the everyday sameness of school uniforms. With classes competing to win the title of Most School Spirit, along with the highly coveted, somewhat magical Spirit Stick and a pizza party, Spirit Week has become a much-anticipated staple of the BCIS calendar.

Spelling Bee Semi-Finals

从初赛中脱颖而出的BCIS学生们，SPBCN组委会的监考老师将会在3月24日星期三来到校园内进行复赛监考。

通过复赛的BCIS学生将会晋级到城市半决赛。期待各位学生的表现！

For the BCIS students who have emerged from the preliminary rounds, the invigilator from the SPBCN Organizing Committee will come to our school on Wednesday, March 24 for the semi-final proctors. BCIS students who pass the semifinals will advance to the city semi-finals. Looking forward to the performance of all students!

快闪书店
Pop-up Campus Bookstore

时间：3月25日-3月26日

为期两天的“快闪校园书店”让BCIS的学生有更方便的方式了解和购买最新的原版图书。这次书展，我们为学生提供了丰富的原版图书，包括获奖图书、畅销系列、经典读物、参考书和最新的小说、漫画和科普读物等等。

The two-day "pop-up campus bookstore" allows BCIS students to have a more convenient way to understand and purchase the latest original books. This pop-up campus bookstore offers various titles with selections from award-winning books, favorite series, classics, reference books, and the latest fiction and non-fiction books that are from different publishers.

国际节
International Fair

时间：3月26日

Date：26th March

BCIS将从一所全美学校转型为全球社区。一年一度的美国博览会今年更名为国际博览会，以庆祝我们校园、学生和教师的多样性。我们鼓励大家多了解阿根廷、巴西、安哥拉和意大利等国家的比赛、歌曲和舞蹈。除此之外，还有一个美食展，参加者可以品尝来自世界各地的美食。

On March 26 2021 BCIS will transform from an All-American school into a global community.The annual American Fair has been rebranded this year as the International Fair to celebrate the diversity of our campus, our students, and our faculty. Everyone is encouraged to learn more about the games, songs, and dances of such countries as Argentina, Brazil, Angola, and Italy. Along with the fun, there will be a food fair where attendees can sample food from around the world.

无墙周
Week Without Walls Trip

时间：4月份

Date：April

清远旅行

三年级以上的班级会到清远进行旅行学习。此次外出学习会通过户外徒步、搭建庇护所、参观豆腐工厂及地方建筑等活动让学生打破课室的界限，外出探索。在四天三晚的行程中，学生们需要彼此合作，通过不同的活动训练他们户外生存的能力、沟通和合作的能力、独立自主的能力。无墙周学习是BCIS教学和学生培养的一个重要组成！

Classes above the third grade will travel to Qingyuan for learning. This time going out to study will allow students to break the boundaries of the classroom and go out to explore through activities such as outdoor hiking, building shelters, visiting tofu factories and local buildings. During the four-day and three-night trip, students need to cooperate with each other and train their outdoor survival ability, communication and cooperation ability, and independent ability through different activities. Weekly learning without walls is an important part of the teaching and training of BCIS students.

深圳旅行

LTC到二年级的学生，老师会结合他们课堂上所学的内容，带同学们外出实地考察和学习。比如，一年级的小朋友在学习动物的生存环境，老师会带他们到动物园实地参观不同动物的生活环境，从而把理论和实际以直观的方式结合起来。小朋友们也会去科学馆探索日新月异的科技知识，到公园做活动，进行户外探索。这些活动会开拓学生的眼界、激发他们的想象力和好奇心、培养孩子们沟通协作的能力！

For students from LTC to the second grade, the teacher will combine what they have learned in class and take the students out for field trips and study. For example, first-grade children are learning about the living environment of animals, so the teacher will take them to the zoo to visit the living environment of different animals on the spot, thus combining theory and practice in an intuitive way. Children will also go to the science museum to explore the ever-changing technological knowledge, go to the park to do activities, conduct outdoor explorations, and cultivate everyone's ability to communicate and collaborate.
