广州耀华国际教育学校获国际学校委员会认证

Our school earn the great honour of becoming a full member of the prestigious Council of International Schools on May.

2021 年5月，广州耀华国际教育学校成功认证成为享有盛誉的国际学校委员会（CIS）的正式成员。

To accomplish this feat, each and every division of the school went through a process of self-review and evaluating themselves against the rigorous standards and rubrics set by the C.I.S. for gaining membership.

All aspects of academic and non-academic performance became part of the initial self-study, followed by an independent examination by C.I.S. reviewers.

The grand number of 35 staff were directly engaged in the assessment process.

为了完成这一目标，学校的每一个部门都进行了严谨的自查和自我评价，以符合CIS为获得成员资格而制定的严格标准和准则。全校共有多达35名教职员工直接参与了评估过程。学术和非学术部门的表现是最初的自查和自我评价的一部分，随后由C.I.S.评审人员进行独立的检查。

The final report was very positive and highlighted the many achievements of our still relatively new school. They acknowledged that all crucial systems were in place for an effective delivery of the school’s curriculum and that student and staff welfare were amongst the strengths of our school.

CIS评审组对我校的办学十分认可，评估报告非常积极正面，突出了我们作为相对较新的学校取得的许多成就。他们认为，学校所有重要的体制已经健全，能够有效地为学生提供教学课程，另外学生和员工的福祉建设也是我们学校的优势之一。

The report highlighted the excellent facilities available to our residence hall students and the care given to those students as well as the richness of the residence hall programme.

评估报告着重介绍了学校为学生提供的优良设施、对学生的关怀以及丰富的学生宿舍课程。

The reviewers also stated: ”Many conversations emphasised the holistic approach to learning at Yew Wah Guangzhou, including references to the character education programme for all students, and life skills course which is part of the boarding programme. The students' well-being is at the heart of every facet of learning and life at the school.”

评审人员还表示：“和校方的许多对话，都突显了耀华广州校区的全人教育理念，包括针对所有学生的品格教育项目，以及宿舍课程中的生活技能课程等。学生的福祉是学校学习和生活各方面的核心。”

We feel proud of this achievement and are now starting preparations for gaining advanced CIS accreditation standards.
