CCIS讲座丨性格的独特 Uniqueness of Character

这周三，学校的心理辅导老师罗怡敏老师给学生们上了一堂生动的关于性格的课。设计这堂课的原因是希望大家对不同的性格特征以及自己的性格特点有所了解，以便更好地去理解和运用学校PEAKS性格测试的结果。

This Wednesday, our school counselor, Ms. Jean Luo, held a very lively seminar on Characters. This seminar was designed for our students to understand the different personality traits and to have a better understanding of their own characters based on their individual PEAKS personality tests which was taken earlier. 

首先，同学们通过游戏的方式来思考自己的性格特点，并且更加深入的了解自己性格的特点以及表现特征。接着，通过交流的方式，同学们开始意识到大家的性格是多姿多彩的，却没有对错之分。应该如何更好的去欣赏和自己不同的性格特征。

To start off, students played a game where they learn to recognize their own characters and have an in-depth understanding of their personality traits. Then, through way of communication, students began to realize that everyone has such diverse characters, and there is no right or wrong character but to appreciate everyone's different characters. 

最后，针对很多同学更倾向于用负面信息形容自己性格的特点，大家还接受了一个小挑战。每个同学都需要大声讲出一个关于自己性格的正面特征。

Lastly,students were more inclined to use negative information to describe their own character. So, as a challenge, every student had to say out loud one of their positive character. This helped to affirm the students and appreciate their own characters.
