彰显榜样力量梦想载誉而行丨新学期师生表彰大会现场直击

榜样如灯，照亮前行的道路。榜样如旗，指引向上的脚步。一个有榜样引领的时代不会停下奋斗的脚步，一所追求卓越、勇于创新的学校更加需要彰显榜样力量，激发全校师生向着更高的目标奋勇前行。

九月是收获的季节，也是梦想启航的时刻。

全国第40个教师节如约而至，为表彰优秀，树立典型，彰显榜样的力量，富源英美学校2024-2025学年第一学期教师节暨师生表彰大会在三楼礼堂隆重举行，我校全体师生齐聚一堂，共同见证这一荣光时刻。

张淑云女士、冯学涛校长、各部门主任以及全体师生应邀出席本次大会。

此次盛会由A2A年级黄姝杰和魏豪同学主持。

大会在雄壮的国歌声中拉开序幕，伴随着激扬的旋律，全体师生昂首肃立，行注目礼，共同筑梦新学期。

台下热烈的掌声响起，富源英美学校校长冯学涛先生为本次大会致辞。

冯校长首先向全体在教育岗位上默默奉献的教职员工致以节日的问候和美好的祝愿，他特别强调了师生们在各自领域取得的杰出贡献。冯校长指出：老师是知识的传授者，智慧的启迪者，灵魂的塑造者。学生是学校的未来，是社会的希望。学生的每一点进步，每一次成功，都是对老师辛勤付出的最好回报。

Education is a common undertaking, and it requires the joint efforts and collaboration of all of us. As a principal, I feel a great responsibility on my shoulders.

I will continue to work hard to provide a better teaching environment for teachers and to create better learning conditions for students.

At the same time, I look forward to teachers and students continuing to work together to achieve our goals.

Looking forward to the future, we have reason to believe that through our joint efforts, our school will be better and our education will be more successful.

Let us go hand in hand, with more enthusiasm and a firmer faith, to meet every new challenge and overcome potential difficulties.

Finally, I wish all teachers a happy teachers’ Day, good health and the appreciation you all deserve! I also wish the students all the best in their studies and for them to grow happily!

经过上个学期的辛勤耕耘，一批批优秀的富源学子脱颖而出，他们或在学习上取得了优异成绩，或是取得了显著进步，此刻，获奖学生们走上台前，接受属于他们的高光时刻。

大屏幕上的每一个名字都凝聚着拼搏向上的年华，每一张奖状都见证了他们在富源英美的成长与蜕变。

入学奖学金、校长奖学金和董事长奖学金是我校给予在校生的一份极具价值的荣誉，旨在激励富源英美学子潜心向学、锐意进取、以行动践行追梦初心。

获奖学生代表吕颂淇发表感言致辞，她向老师和同学们分享了许多学习上的经验和心得。在发言中，她特别提到了知行合一的概念。

In the second part, I want to share a conception, which is 知行合一. It really influences me a lot.

The word means "the unity of knowledge and action." which is from ming dynasty philosopher王阳明. He believed that true knowledge is not passive; it is active, it is dynamic, and it compels us to take action.

The idea emphasizes that genuine knowledge is inseparable from action, and that true understanding of a concept is only achieved through its practical application.

As we all know, there is a distance between ‘know’ and ‘act’. Someone who is very smart always comes up with many idea in his mind, but he may fail if he doesn’t prove his idea. So how should we do to achieve our goal?

The answer could be found in a practical learning strategy from this conception.

For instance, students who learn a foreign language can improve their language skills by applying their language knowledge to real-life communication.

Practicing the knowledge in books will help you understand it better. Students can use this principle by ensuring that learning is not just theoretical but also involves practical application. As we move forward in our lives, it is important for us to be individuals who not only know but also act.

在2024年第一学期，富源英美学子在各项国际竞赛上捷报频传，袋鼠数学思维测评、滑铁卢数学竞赛、英国物理中级测评......优异的成绩离不开学子们的勇于挑战的精神和导师们的鼎力支持，奖状不仅仅是数字和排名的堆砌，更是富源英美学子们学术能力与国际竞争力的有力见证。

以身作则，引领学风，忙而不茫，挺膺担当！班级学生干部与学生会干事以实际行动诠释着责任的意义，在学生与学校的交汇之处，搭建起一座坚实的桥梁。

新学期，校学生会也即将注入新力量，希望学生干部与学生会继续发挥引领精神，为校园增添更多光彩！

随着大会进程的推进，我们迎来了教职工颁奖环节，一位位优秀的教师陆续走上领奖台。

在上一学期的教学工作中，我校全体教师倾注心血，书写着对教育职业的执着，众多优秀的教师在工作中脱颖而出，获得表彰殊荣。

Jules老师作为优秀教师代表发言时，台下响起阵阵欢呼声，他在发言中对富源英美的学生和老师们表达了诚挚的感谢，他说：

I am fortunate to work alongside such passionate, talented, and devoted educators. We have had our ups and downs, faced obstacles together, and pushed through challenging times. But through it all, we have leaned on each other, learned from each other, and come out stronger on the other side.

One of the greatest gifts this school has given me is the friendships I have formed. I am blessed to have built lasting relationships with my students, who continually remind me why I love this profession. I am equally grateful for the camaraderie and support from my colleagues, who have been there for me,both in and out of the classroom.

Finally, I want to thank everyone for your kindness, encouragement, and belief in me. This award isnot just mine; it belongs to all of us who work tirelessly to make Fuyuan British American School the wonderful community that it is. Together, we make a difference in our students' lives, and that is something truly special.
