体育是哈罗成员校之间沟通的纽带，
上周，
来自哈罗上海的28名同学们来到海南，
与哈罗海口学子展开了校际运动对决，
在充满活力的哈罗海口挥洒汗水，
享受体育竞技带来的激情和友谊。
在丰富多彩的交流活动中收获成长，
打造属于哈罗人的“朋友圈”。

来到哈罗海口当天，校际运动会的第一个竞赛项目——篮球赛事火热开打，两个成员校的友谊由一场篮球赛开启！比赛过程中，双方队员精彩的抢断、默契的传球、精准的投篮，让大家激动万分。一个下午的时间，同学们已经在比赛中建立了新的友谊。
除了比赛，哈罗上海的同学还与我们一同度过了一个非凡的热带周末。海边漫步，享受周末晚宴，与哈罗海口的同学一起玩荔枝游戏，品尝当地不同品种的荔枝。
在激烈竞争的体育竞赛安排中，不仅是对个人竞技能力的极大挑战，也是对哈罗同学们团队默契的考验。而哈罗选手们凭着自身娴熟的运动技巧，通过与队友间的协作顺利完成了自我挑战，展现了顽强拼搏的体育精神，再次重申了哈罗独特的价值理念。

我觉得他们表现出的勇气和友谊让我印象深刻，他们中的一些人在比赛中表现出荣誉感，他们可能并不强壮，但他们有决心面对挑战。我认为能够与其他学校竞技，我们的学生可以从中受益。 我们一直只在哈罗海口，需要看到外界的不同。 这是我们第一次有机会与另一所学校比赛。 这是一个很好的机会，可以在交流中听听他们的故事。

我今天赢了夹荔枝比赛！哈罗海口的课间活动好特别，我们午饭后玩了荔枝小游戏和认识了不同品种的荔枝。然后一起做雕塑小人，留下了在哈罗海口的纪念。我刚刚交到了一个海口的朋友，我们会一起分享海口和上海不同的地方！和我们不同的是，我们有4个院舍，海口有6个院舍，颜色很丰富多彩，我们在一起比赛又累又开心！

Sport is the link between Harrow schools.
Last week, 28 students from Harrow Shanghai travelled to Hainan for a three-day inter-school sports competition.
These students from Shanghai competed with Harrow Haikou in an all-round sporting competition.
The children sweated it out on the vibrant Harrow Haikou sports field, enjoying the passion and friendship that competition brings. The children were able to grow up in a rich and varied exchange of activities, creating their own "circle of friends".
On the day the students from Shanghai arrived at Harrow Haikou, the basketball competition - the first interschool event- kicked off. That’s when the friendship between the children from two member schools started! The competition was a thrilling experience with wonderful steals, passing and accurate shooting by young players.
In addition to the competition, Harrow Shanghai students joined us for an extraordinary tropical weekend. The children from Shanghai walked along the beach, played lychee games with Harrow Haikou students and tasted different varieties of local lychees.

Reaffirming Harrow Values
The fiercely competitive sporting competition was not only a great challenge to individual athletic ability, but also a test of teamwork for the Harrow students. The Harrow athletes successfully completed the challenge through collaboration with their teammates, demonstrating their tenacious sportsmanship and reaffirming Harrow's unique values.

I think how they have shown courage and fellowship with one another and performing with a sense of honour in competitions, impressed me most. They're not strong but they've faced challenges with determination.
I think our students benefit from competing against other school. We are always only doing inter Harrow Haikou, and we need to see the difference on the outside. So, this is the first opportunity that we've been able to compete against another school.
It's a good opportunity to mix with and see and hear their stories from Harrow Shanghai. Obviously, we're all Harrow Schools, but sometimes some of the things that we do are a little bit different.
Good for them to come. Our students are able to do a lot of practice, then we have to put everything, all the skills that we've taught them into practice. They're representatives of the school, which is pretty amazing.

Harrow Haikou has a very nice campus. Lots of good sports facilities, and it is a really good chance for us to come and see another Harrow School. We enjoyed a nice lunch served with Lychee, very tasty!
The Haikou P.E. department has done a really good job of organizing this event. Everything is very smooth, very organized, very professional job.
The Haikou trip is a good opportunity for students to practice their sporting skills in different events like badminton and basketball, and also a good opportunity for them to learn teamwork and learn leadership.
It is a really good demonstration of courage and fellowship with humility.
We have a lot in common with Harrow Shanghai and share the same values, which has allowed us to hit it off straight away. They are very friendly when they play basketball, and we learn from each other and improve together during the game. I think I still need to improve my teamwork as I found Harrow Shanghai did a very good job of passing and working together. We are happy to welcome them to Haikou.

I won the lychee-catching competition today! The break activity at Harrow Haikou was so special, we played a lychee game after lunch and got to know the different varieties of lychees. We then made sculptural figures together to mark our time at Harrow Haikou. I've just made a friend from Haikou, and we shared the differences between Haikou and Shanghai! For example, our school has 4 Houses while Harrow Haikou has 6. We had a great time racing together, tired yet happy!

Harrow Haikou v Harrow Shanghai Sports Competition allowed Harrovians from both schools to gain friendship and to hone their individual and team qualities of courage and cooperation.
In the future, Harrow Haikou will continue to invite Harrow students around the world to expand their studies and future lives through various high-quality activities and events.
