爱莎科学城校区将于2020年9月正式投入使用!

The construction of the ISA Science City Campus started in 2018. So far, the school's foundation work has been completed, and ground construction is underway. It is expected to be put into use in September 2020, providing a world-class K-12 international education for nearly 2,000 students (2-18 years old).

广州爱莎国际学校广州科学城校区已于2018年全面动工，截至目前为止，校区地基工作已经完成，正在开展地面建楼工程。校区建设工程如期推进，将于2020年9月正式投入使用，为接近2000名学生提供从幼儿园到高中（2-18岁）的世界一流的K-12一贯制国际教育。

The ISA Science City Campus is located in Yushu Road, Science City, adjacent to the Guangdong Olympic Center, only 15-minute drive from the Zhujiang New Town Campus. The campus has a total construction area of 73,000 square meters. It will be built into a leading domestic and world-class international school.

After global bidding, it finally commissioned the joint design of Singapore CPG and Guangdong Architectural Design Institute, and entrusted the China Construction Third Bureau, which is famous for building construction benchmarks, as the general contractor of the project.

此次爱莎科学城校区工程由多家国际级的设计建设单位保驾护航。其中，通过全球招标，爱莎委托了以打造建筑标杆闻名的中建三局作为项目总承包商，并委托新加坡CPG及广东省建筑设计院联合设计。

The China Construction Third Bureau is a Fortune 100 company with a special qualification for building construction projects. The company specializes in the high-end construction market, and has successively undertaken key government projects such as the Baiyun International Conference Center, Guangzhou Grand Theatre and the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center. This company has won the “City Award”, the National Quality Engineering Award and the AAA-level Credit Works. With its rich construction experience and excellent construction technology, the China Construction Third Bureau will make the ISA Science City campus a benchmark for the quality of international schools in South China.

The design team uses the characteristics of hillside terrain to fully exploit a large amount of space, creatively create a three-dimensional, environmentally-friendly campus environment, which can enrich teaching activities by setting up a variety of learning spaces. It adopts British and American healthy and ecological standards to build the school into a leading domestic and world-class international forest school.

设计团队利用山坡地形的特点，充分开拓大量空间，创造性地打造立体、环保的校园环境，各个建筑错落有致，相互连通。通过设置多样性的学习空间，用以丰富教学活动。同时采用英美健康及绿色建筑标准（绿色建筑需通过美国LEED质量认证、国际WELL健康认证及中国国家绿色认证二星），依据教学及辅助课程要求，科学地布置各类教学空间和功能，充分利用环境，使爱莎科学城校区建成具有前瞻性、现代化、设施设备精良的环保型森林学校。 

The Science City Campus consists of seven parts: the administrative building, the kindergarten, the primary school, the middle school department (includes junior and senior high school), the library, the teaching complex, the student dormitory and the teacher's apartment. The teaching complex is the largest, the most central and most functional in the campus. The single building can be connected to the rest of the building.

爱莎科学城校区主要由行政楼，幼儿园部，小学部，中学部（初高中），图书馆，教学综合体，学生宿舍和教师公寓等七部分组成；教学综合体是校区内最大、位置最核心、功能最多的单体建筑，可连通其余各个部分。 

Architectural Features 建筑特色： 

1. Kindergarten: Considering relative independence and connectivity, the interior has sufficient activity areas and teaching spaces, and through the split-level design, it increases lighting and ventilation performance.

幼儿园：兼顾相对独立性和连通性，内部设置充足的活动区域和教学空间，并通过错层设计，增加采光和通风性能。

2. Elementary School: The use of a triangular structure allows for a closer connection between the classrooms and a relatively independent shared learning space. The hollowed out design of the façade will increase the ventilation between the interior of the building and other buildings.
小学：采用三角形结构，使各班房有更紧密的联系，同时也形成相对独立的共享学习空间。外墙的镂空设计将增加建筑内部和与其他建筑之间的通风性能。

3. Middle School: There are a number of physical, chemical, and biological laboratories, and there are independent lecture halls to distribute more learning and sharing space.
中学（初高中）：设置了多个物理、化学、生物实验室，并有独立的阶梯教室，分布更多的学习共享空间。

4. Library: There are four floors, with a circular structure and internal split-level design to increase reading sharing and exchange learning environment.
图书馆：共有四层，采用圆形结构，内部错层镂空设计，增加阅读共享及交流学习环境。

5. Teaching complex: It has many functions such as art, music and sports, including:
