Summer Camp｜用不一样的方式开启暑假！佛山ASJ港式夏令营圆满结营~

成长的步伐永不止步，在这个被阳光拥抱的夏日里，我们相遇在佛山ASJ港式夏令营，踏上了关于探索知识与拓展技能的学习之旅，共同度过了难忘的五天时光。

从初次见面的陌生，到如今的欢声笑语和共同进步，同学们不仅学会了如何面对未知，也学会了如何与人沟通协作、如何独立思考。大家全力以赴为新学期的课程学习做准备，每一天的活动都充满了意义，每一个瞬间也都见证了他们的成长。

The steps of growth never cease. In this  summer, we met at the ASJ-Foshan Hong Kong-Style Summer Camp and embarked on a journey of exploring knowledge and expanding skills, spending an unforgettable five days together.

From the initial unfamiliarity to the laughter and progress we share now, students have learned not only how to face the unknown but also how to communicate and collaborate with others and think independently. Everyone has put in their utmost effort to prepare for the new semester's coursework. Each day's activities were filled with meaning, and every moment witnessed their growth.

在开营仪式上，张晔校长致辞表示，本次夏令营的每一项活动都是学校教学和管理团队精心设计的，希望能为同学们提供一个充实、多样、有趣且富有挑战性的学习体验。

At the opening ceremony, Principal, Ms. Christine Zhang delivered a speech stating that every activity of the camp was carefully designed by the school's teaching and management team in the hope of providing students with a fulfilling, varied, interesting and challenging learning experience.

助理校长汤凌艳则介绍了从营养均衡的餐食，到舒适安全的住宿环境，学校极力确保每一位学生都能在这里获得良好的学习和生活体验。同时，作为HKDSE升学方面的专家，她也欢迎同学们随时可以跟她进行升学规划方面的交流。

Assistant Principal Ms. Elaine Tang said that from the nutritionally balanced meals to the comfortable and safe accommodation, the school tries its best to ensure that every student can have a good learning and living experience here. As an expert in HKDSE's college entrance guidance, she also welcomed students to talk to her anytime for college entrance planning.

Students also met with the experienced and passionate summer camp faculty. With full of enthusiasm and expectation, everyone officially started the summer camp exploration and learning journey.

初入佛山ASJ校园，同学们或许还带着几分羞涩与陌生，但新兴运动与趣味横生的破冰游戏迅速打破了大家彼此间的拘谨。

躲避盘、躲避球、芬兰木棋......各种新奇的运动方式让大家在轻松愉悦的氛围里感受到了校园的温度，每一个笑容、每一次欢呼，都是友谊的种子在悄悄萌芽，归属感与团队精神的力量也在此刻不断蔓延在所有人心中。

When they first entered the Foshan ASJ campus, students may still be a little shy and unfamiliar, but the emerging sports and fun icebreaker games quickly broke the constraints between them.

A variety of newly emerged sports such as Dodgebee, dodgeball, mölkky, let everyone feel the temperature of the campus in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, every smile, every cheer, are the seeds of friendship quietly sprouting, the sense of belonging and the power of team spirit also spread in the hearts of all people at this moment.

同学们亦在老师的组织下开展了一系列破冰小游戏，大家主动进行交流互动，为夏令营书写了一个美好的开端。

The students also carried out a series of ice-breaking games organized by the teachers, everyone took the initiative to communicate and interact with each other, which was a wonderful start for the summer camp.

第二天，同学们开始走近香港DSE课程体系，体验原汁原味的“港式”课堂。

从DSE数学必修课再到DSE理科选修课、经济与会计选修课、旅游与管理选修课，整个学习过程中，佛山ASJ学校的老师们以他们丰富的教学经验和多元、互动的教学方式，成功将原本陌生的课程体系转化为生动有趣的学习体验，让同学们深刻感受到了DSE课程的魅力。

On the second day, students began to approach the Hong Kong DSE curriculum and experienced the original “Hong Kong-style” classroom.

From DSE Mathematics to DSE Physics & DSE Chemistry, DSE Economics, DSE Tourism and Hospitality Studies, throughout the whole learning process, the teachers of Foshan ASJ School, with their rich teaching experience and diversified and interactive teaching methods, successfully transformed the unfamiliar curriculum system into a vivid and interesting learning experience, which enabled the students to deeply feel the charm of the DSE curriculum.

在科创课上，同学们采用项目制学习，在专业导师的指导下，从零开始一步步构建起自己的创意作品。

从最初的构思设计到最终的模型呈现，每一个环节都充满了挑战与惊喜。这次经历不仅让同学们掌握了3D建模与3D打印的基本技能，更重要的是激发了他们对科技创新的浓厚兴趣与无限遐想。

In the ICT class, students adopted the project-based learning system and constructed their creative works step by step from scratch under the guidance of professional instructors.

From the initial conceptualization and design to the final model presentation, each step was full of challenges and surprises. This experience not only enabled the students to master the basic skills of 3D modeling and 3D printing, but more importantly, inspired their strong interest in science and technology innovation and unlimited imagination.

DSE英文科对学生的综合语言应用能力有着更高的要求。针对这一科目的特色与要求，我们设计了一系列强化训练课程。

从听力训练的即时反馈到口语表达的实战演练，从阅读理解的深度剖析到写作技巧的精细打磨，每一个环节都在提升同学们的英语综合运用能力，为未来的升学和职业发展打下坚实基础。

DSE English has a higher demand for students' comprehensive language application skills. We have designed a series of intensive training courses to meet the characteristics and requirements of this subject.

From immediate feedback on listening training to practical exercises on oral expression, from in-depth analysis of reading comprehension to fine polishing of writing skills, every aspect of the program is designed to enhance students' comprehensive English language application skills, laying a solid foundation for future further studies and career development.

视觉艺术作为DSE的选修课程之一，不仅注重培养学生的审美能力和艺术鉴赏力，还强调实践技能和创新思维的发展。

在视觉艺术课上，同学们尝试了版画，大家在画布上自由创作，色彩交织、融合形成了一幅幅色彩斑斓、风格各异的作品。在服装设计课上，同学们则学习了如何运用布料、饰品等材料，通过剪裁、拼接等手法，创造出具有立体感的服装模型，锻炼了动手能力与想象力。

Visual Arts, as one of the elective courses in DSE, not only focuses on cultivating students' aesthetic ability and art appreciation, but also emphasizes the development of practical skills and creative thinking.

In the visual arts class, students tried out texture oil painting, where they worked freely on the canvas, with colors intertwining and blending to form a colorful and varied work of art. In the clothing design class, students learned how to use fabrics, accessories and other materials, through cutting, stitching and other techniques to create a three-dimensional sense of clothing model, exercise hands-on skills and imagination.

结营仪式上，老师学员们齐聚一堂，共同分享这五天来的学习成果。无论是科创作品、艺术作品的创意展示、英语role play的自信风采还是DSE课程学习的心得体会分享都赢得了阵阵掌声与喝彩，记录着他们在语言、文化、创意等多个方面的全面成长。

At the closing ceremony, teachers and students gathered together to share the learning achievements in these five days. Whether it was the creative display of scientific and creative works, art works, the confident style of English role play or the sharing of the experience of DSE course learning, they all won a burst of applause and applause, recording their comprehensive growth in language, culture, creativity and other aspects.

随后，学员们还收到了一份由佛山ASJ精心准备的结业证书，这不仅是对他们努力的认可，更是对他们未来学习的激励。

The students then received a certificate of completion prepared by ASJ-Foshan, which not only recognized their efforts, but also motivated them for future studies.

结营仪式虽然落幕，但学员们的DSE学习之旅才刚刚开始，大家也在这些日子里学会了如何面对挑战、如何珍惜友谊、如何追求梦想......

期待未来的日子里，同学们能在佛山ASJ的校园里打开更广阔的世界之门。

Although the closing ceremony has come to an end, the DSE learning journey of the students has just begun, and they have learned how to face challenges, how to cherish friendship and how to pursue their dreams in these days ......
