为了培养孩子们的思维能力、语言表达能力和自信心，同时激发孩子们对未来的期望和信心，立足当下，规划未来，美高学校于2024年4月27日在多功能教室举办了第11届“美高杯”演讲赛决赛！

To cultivate children's logical thinking, language expression ability, and self-confidence, while inspiring their expectations and confidence for the future, and planning for the future based on the present, LWS successfully held the final round of the 11th LWS Speech Contest on April 27, 2024 in the multi-functional classroom!

揭示了举办本届演讲赛的初衷

Mr. Fang expressed the original intention of holding the speech competition

在人工智能日益发展的时代，培养孩子的思维模式尤为重要。我们举办演讲比赛，主要目的就是为了锻炼孩子的思维模式和语言表达能力。他们今天面对的是在座的听众，明天面对的就是人工智能。

在人工智能时代，一个人要想取得成功，思维能力和表达能力，是最为基本也最为重要的能力。

如果我们的孩子，只会问最直接的问题，期待人工智能给他一个最直接的答案，拿到所有的答案之后，他也不知道该怎么办，那他很可能会被未来社会所淘汰。

而如果我们的孩子具备了强大的思维能力，他就能用清晰、逻辑严谨的语言来表达自己的思考，人工智能就能更精准地理解他的意图，并给出更为满意的结果，而不只是一个直接的答案。

我们应该从小培养孩子的思维能力，让他们在未来的竞争中脱颖而出，成为无所不能的人。

In the era of increasingly developing artificial intelligence, cultivating children's thinking patterns is particularly important.We organize speech competitions primarily to exercise children's thinking patterns and language expression abilities. Today, they are facing the audience present here, and tomorrow, they will be facing artificial intelligence.

In the age of artificial intelligence, thinking and expression abilities are the most fundamental and crucial skills for a person to achieve success.

If our children only ask the most direct questions, expecting artificial intelligence to give them a straightforward answer, and after receiving all the answers, they still do not know what to do, then they are likely to be eliminated by future society.

However, if our children possess strong thinking abilities, they will be able to express their thoughts in clear and logical language, allowing artificial intelligence to more accurately understand their intentions and provide more satisfying results, rather than just a direct answer.

We should cultivate children's thinking abilities from childhood, enabling them to stand out in future competitions and become omnipotent individuals.

比赛现场，孩子们慷慨陈词，用真挚的语言，从不同的角度切入，表达了自己对演讲主题的理解。精彩的演讲不仅赢得了评委老师们的好评，也深深地打动了在场的每一个人。

At the competition, the children spoke eloquently and sincerely, approaching the topic of their speeches from different angles and expressing their understanding of it. Their wonderful performances not only won the praise of the judges, but also deeply moved everyone present.

在1年级至3年级组的比赛中，小朋友们用稚嫩却坚定的声音，描绘了22岁的自己从大学毕业的场景。他们向现在的自己提出忠告，要珍惜时光，努力学习，为未来的挑战做好准备。他们的纯真与憧憬，让在场的每一个人都感受到了青春的美好与力量。

In the competition for the 1th to 3th grade group, the young children used their tender yet determined voices to depict the scene of their graduation from university at the age of 22. They gave advice to their present selves, urging them to cherish time, study hard, and prepare for future challenges. Their innocence and aspirations made everyone present feel the beauty and power of youth.

4年级至6年级组的同学们则以毕业生代表的身份，为即将离校的学长学姐们送上了真挚的祝福。他们鼓励毕业班的同学们勇敢面对困难，追求梦想；同时，也给在校的师弟师妹们提出了宝贵的建议，希望他们能够坚定信心，勇攀高峰。

Students from the 4th to 6th grade groups, representing graduates, sent sincere wishes to their soon-to-graduate seniors. They encouraged their classmates in the graduating class to bravely face difficulties and pursue their dreams. At the same time, they also gave valuable advice to their younger peers, hoping that they would maintain their confidence and strive to reach new heights.

而7年级至9年级组的学长学姐们则以过来人的身份，回顾了自己的职业生涯，体验未来人生的宝贵经验。他们告诉在场的同学们，要珍惜现在的时光，勇敢面对挑战，不断学习和成长。通过这种体验，也让自己清晰了现在要做的事情，指明了前行的方向。

The students from the 7th to 9th grade groups, as experienced individuals, looked back on their career paths and shared their valuable insights into future life. They told the younger audience to cherish the present moment, bravely face challenges, and continue to learn and grow. Through this experience, they also gained clarity on what they needed to do now and found a clear direction for their future path.

孩子们妙语连珠，表达了青春与梦想：

The students' eloquent words expressed their youth and dreams:

“只要你有梦想，就去追求，不要轻易放弃。你的梦想可能不会在一两天内实现，但总有一天会实现的。”

As long as you have a dream, just go for it, and never give it up easily. Your dream might not come true in one or two days, but it will someday.

“快乐时我用小提琴表达，不开心时小提琴也能安慰和陪伴我。我的梦想是当一名物理学家，也想当一名小提琴家。”

When I am happy, I express myself through the violin, and when I am unhappy, the violin comforts and accompanies me. My dream is to become a physicist, as well as a violinist.

“找到那些点燃内心激情、让心跳加速的事物，全力以赴追求自己的梦想，并享受整个旅程。”

Find the things that ignite your inner passion and make your heart race, pursue your dreams with all your might, and enjoy the entire journey.

每个孩子演讲结束后，方先生还会与他们进行亲切的对话，或询问他们有什么梦想，鼓励他们大胆表达自己的想法，不畏挑战，敢于追梦；或指出问题，帮助他们改善，成为更好的自己，让每一位参赛者都感受到了深深的关怀与温暖。

After each child's speech, Mr. Fang also engaged in a warm conversation with them, inquiring about their dreams and encouraging them to bravely express their thoughts, face challenges, and pursue their dreams without fear. He also pointed out issues and helped them improve to become better versions of themselves. Making every contestant feel deeply cared for and warmed.

言为心声，诉不尽青春飞扬；妙语连珠，话不完花样年华。这场演讲赛不仅锻炼了孩子们的思维能力和语言表达能力，也让他们在分享与交流中收获了成长与感悟。他们用真诚的话语、激昂的情感，展现了美高学子的风采与才华。我们相信，在未来的日子里，这些孩子们将会以更加自信的姿态，迎接人生的挑战，书写属于自己的精彩篇章。

This speech competition not only exercised the children's thinking and language skills, but also allowed them to gain growth and insights through sharing and communication. With sincere words and passionate emotions, they demonstrated the elegance and talent of the LWS students. We believe that in the future, these children will meet the challenges of life with a more confident attitude and write their own brilliant chapters.
