The beginning of the four seasons, the best period is as promised. To respond to the national plan of “ to invite 50,000 young Americans to China on exchange and study programs in the next five years”, Shanghai MacDuffie School has welcomed a group of special “tourists”.

跨越太平洋，路易维尔弗朗西斯帕克学校（Francis Parker School of Louisville）同学们的文化之旅，从温馨友好的欢迎仪式开启。

Across the Pacific Ocean, students at Francis Parker School of Louisville began their cultural journey with a warm and friendly welcome.

路易维尔弗朗西斯帕克学校，位于美国肯塔基州，路易维尔，是一所以学生为中心，注重培养孩子好奇心、创新精神、终生学习和独立思考能力的学校。这段全新又未知的旅程让各位同学都兴奋不已，对接下来的行程更是充满期待。

Francis Parker School of Louisville, located in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, is a student-centered school that focuses on fostering curiosity, innovation, lifelong learning, and independent thinking. This new and unknown journey has excited all the students and they are full of expectations for the next trip.

乘坐巴士抵达学校后，上海美达菲学校的老师和同学们准备了小小的欢迎仪式，王东焕校长致欢迎词，对来访的学生和老师表示热烈欢迎，期待他们能在这趟旅程中感受到中美文化的交流与碰撞，收获友谊，对中国文化有更加全面、真实、立体的了解和认知。

After the students from Francis Parker School of Louisville arrived at the school by bus, teachers and students from Shanghai MacDuffie School prepared a welcoming ceremony to welcome them. President Wang Donghuan delivered a welcoming speech at the ceremony. He extended a warm welcome to the visiting students and teachers, expecting them to experience the cultural exchange and gain friendship between China and the United States during this trip. After tasting the Chinese food, we walked into the garden of Shanghai MacDuffie School to feel the charm of Chinese architecture. On a beautiful spring day, walk on the wooden bridge and enjoy the waterfalls, trees, and pools of the school. Walking in the central garden is the best embodiment of Chinese poetry and aestheticism.

校园文化体验

From the passionate discussions in the classroom to the enthusiastic football matches on the playground, the wonderful campus activities make every student experience the daily life of Shanghai MacDuffie School and the warmth and friendliness of the students. In just one day, students from two different cultural backgrounds have established deep friendships and gained a deeper understanding of the similarities and differences between China and the United States.

夜游黄浦江

结束了学校的交流体验，接下来让我们一起走出校园，来到上海传统旅游项目——黄浦江游轮，感受微风轻抚与魔都盛景。在这里，全景式游览百年上海不同历史阶段留下的城市景观，将黄浦江两岸的更替交叠的繁华与华灯璀璨可谓尽收眼底。

After the exchange experience of the school, let's walk out of the campus together and come to Shanghai's traditional tourism project - Huangpu River cruise, to feel the beauty of Shanghai. They toured the cityscapes left over from different stages of Shanghai's history and enjoyed the beautiful views on both sides of the Huangpu River.
