参观调研 洽谈合作｜多伦多大学士嘉堡校区副校长William Gough一行到访北大附中海口学校

在校领导的陪同讲解下，嘉宾们参观了海南省北大附小幼儿园多功能教室、种植园、图书角和户外活动场所，观赏孩子们的手工、手绘作品，对学生的学习能力和动手实践能力夸赞不已。

Accompanied by the school leaders, the guests visited the multi-functional classrooms, plantations, reading corners and outdoor activity places of the kindergarten, and had a look for children's handmade and hand-painted works. Our students' learning ability and practical ability has been praised by the guests.

在北大附小海口学校，嘉宾们参观了风车教学楼、特色教学区、中心花园，和配置齐全的室内篮球馆、恒温游泳馆、田径运动场等体育场馆，对学校以美育人的校园环境印象深刻。

嘉宾们还参观了北大附中海口学校功能先进的教学区和实验室，兼具多元化、个性化特点的艺术中心和图书馆，以及国际标准化田径场、室内篮球馆、羽毛球馆等，对学校“多元自主、教育创新”的办学理念表示高度认可。

座谈会上，专家们观看北大附中海口学校宣传片，进一步了解学校办学特色、师资队伍、课程建设、特色活动等情况。李福顺理事长热情欢迎嘉宾来访，并详细介绍学校近年来办学成果、国际班学生录取情况，希望未来能与多伦多大学建立合作，加强国际联合教育，强化校际课程培养和专业指导，共同培育国际化拔尖人才。

During the symposium, the delegation watched the introductory video of PKUHS Haikou to further understand the school's characteristics, teacher resources, curriculum construction, and characteristic activities. Mr. Li Fushun warmly welcomed the guests and introduced in detail about the achievements of our school in recent years, especially the enrollment of international division. Mr. Li expressed the willingness to establish cooperation with the University of Toronto in the future, since the cooperation can strengthen international joint education, reinforce the inter-school curriculum training and professional guidance, and jointly cultivate international top-notch talents.

Vice Principal William Gough and Vice Provost David Zweig sincerely congratulated PKUHS Haikou for its teaching honor, and highlighted the teaching advantages of Scarborough campus, as well as the value and significance of the "Green Path" program, hoping to establish in-depth cooperation with the school, in order to assist Chinese students to choose suitable majors, experience university courses in advance, and better adapt to the learning and living environment in Canada.

Mr. Li Kefeng said that the diversified and independent educational form, project-based and experiential practical teaching mode of the University of Toronto is very similar to that of PKUHS Haikou. We encourage students to conduct group cooperation and independent exploration at the same time. In addition, PKUHS Haikou aims to cultivate outstanding citizens with distinct personality, confidence, responsibility, contemplative faculties, leadership and ability of innovation. We look forward to the cooperation and exchanges with the University of Toronto, so that more students can plan and experience university life in advance and realize their dream of studying abroad.
