经过春节假期的充分休整，威睿达思（深圳）于今日再次迎来了新的学期。在这个充满希望的季节里，师生们齐聚一堂，共同参加了盛大的开学典礼，为新学期的到来拉开了帷幕。

After a good rest during the Spring Festival holiday, the new semester has arrived. In the warm spring, teachers and students gathered together for a grand opening ceremony.

首先，周校长发表了热情洋溢的致辞。他欢迎了新入学的同学们，并对他们表达了殷切的期望。同时，周校长也向在场的同学们介绍了新加入到VCASZ教师团队的老师，并希望他们能迅速融入VCASZ这个大家庭中，共同为教育事业贡献力量。在致辞的最后，周校长向全体师生送上了新学期的祝福，希望大家在新的学期里能够取得更大的进步。

First, the principal of VCASZ, Tom, delivered a warm speech. He welcomed the newly enrolled students and expressed his high expectations for them. At the same time, he also introduced to the students the new teachers who joined our faculty team this semester, and hoped that they could quickly integrate into the VCASZ family and contribute to our school together. At the end of his speech, Tom sent his best wishes to all the students and teachers for the new semester and hoped that they would make more progress in the new semester.

接下来是新加入教学部的主管——Yini老师的演讲。她和同学们分享了教学政策和各项学术相关的制度。为了让在场的师生更好地互动，Yini老师还特别设计了一个破冰环节。她让大家通过向彼此提问的方式互相了解，现场气氛瞬间变得轻松活跃起来。

The next presentation was given by the new head of the Academy Department - Yini. She shared with the students the academic policies. She also designed an ice-breaker session for the students and teachers to interact with each other. She made the students and teachers to get to know each other by asking questions to each other, and the atmosphere instantly became relaxed and active.

为了让同学们更好地规划自己的学习，Yini老师还组织大家把自己的目标、完成目标所要付出的努力，以及完成之后的自我奖励，都写在一张白纸上，封存进了信封。她表示，这些信封会在学期末返还到同学们的手中，届时他们将重新启封，见证自己的成长和进步。

In order for the students to better plan their studies, Yini also organized them to write down their goals, the efforts they have to put in to accomplish them, and the rewards they will give to themselves after they have succeeded on a piece of white paper and sealed it into envelopes. She said that these envelopes will be returned to the students at the end of the semester when they will reopen them to witness their growth and progress.

随后，德育处的主任Alice老师从德育的角度，向同学们介绍了一些品行方面的要求与考核标准。她强调，良好的品德是每个人成长道路上不可或缺的一部分，希望同学们能够自觉遵守学校的德育规范，培养良好的行为习惯。同时，Alice老师还向大家介绍了VCA银行的项目。她表示，这个项目旨在帮助同学们培养好习惯，通过实际操作和体验，让同学们更好地理解并践行德育理念。

Afterwards, Alice, the director of the Moral Education Department, introduced to the students some requirements and assessment standards of character and behavior from the perspective of moral education. She emphasized that good character is important, and hoped that students could consciously abide by the school's moral norms and cultivate good behavioral habits. Meanwhile, she also introduced the VCA Bank program. She said that the program aims to help students develop good habits, and through practical operation and experience, students can better understand and practice the concept of moral education.

在学术部和德育部的精彩演讲之后，典礼迎来了颁奖环节。德育部和教学部共同评选出了上个学期表现突出的同学，并为他们颁发了荣誉证书。他们的努力和成就，不仅为自己赢得了荣誉，也为VCASZ增添了光彩。

After the wonderful speeches from the Academic and Moral Education Departments, the ceremony ushered in the awards presentation. The two departments jointly selected the students who had outstanding performance in the last semester and awarded them with certificates. Their efforts and achievements not only won themselves honors, but also added luster to VCASZ.

Today is the tenth day of the Year of the Dragon. In the new year, we hope that every student can cherish the time, work hard, and continue to transcend themselves; and we also wish that every teacher a success in their work.

新的学期已经开始，VCASZ大家庭的师生们将携手共进，共同迎接知识之旅的新篇章。相信在大家的共同努力下，威睿达思（深圳）的明天一定会更加美好！

The new semester has begun, and the teachers and students of the VCASZ family will work hand in hand to embrace a new chapter in the journey of knowledge. We believe that with everyone's joint efforts, VCASZ will have a better tomorrow!
