就在今晚，威睿达思（深圳）成功举办了一场主题为清代社会经济学的讲座。本次讲座特别邀请了香港中文大学（深圳）人文社科学院讲师杨圣宇博士，为师生们带来了一场关于清代育婴慈善事业的深入剖析。除了VCASZ的周校长、付总与师生们，博恒实验学校的领导和师生们也受邀前来共同聆听这场深入浅出、精彩非常的讲座。

Tonight, VCASZ successfully held a lecture on the topic of socio-economics in the Qing Dynasty. Dr. Yang Shengyu, a lecturer from the Chinese University of Hongkong, Shenzhen (CUHKSZ), was invited to give an in-depth analysis of Infant Welfare in the Qing Dynasty to the students and teachers. In addition to the leaders, teachers and students of VCASZ, those of Boheng Experimental School were also invited to listen to this lecture.

杨博士以“welfare”（福利）为引子，首先阐述了福利与慈善的基本概念。他进一步解释，他选择婴幼儿作为研究清代慈善事业的对象，是因为婴幼儿群体具有道德平等性和普遍性等特征，能够深入反映当时社会的慈善状况。

Dr. Yang introduced the topic with the word "welfare" and firstly explained the basic concepts of welfare and charity. He further explained that he chose infants and young children as the object of his study of charity in the Qing Dynasty becauseinfants and young children is characterized by moral equality and universality, which can deeply reflect the state of charity in the society at that time.

随后，杨博士根据研究清代育婴慈善事业不同学者的观点，将他的演讲内容分为徭役化、官办化及白热化三个部分，并详细解读了每个观点的特点和演变过程。他通过丰富的历史资料和生动的实例，向师生们展示了清代育婴慈善事业的繁荣与变迁。

Then, according to different entry perspectives, Dr. Yang divided the Qing Dynasty baby-sitting charity into three stages: corvée, government-run and white-hot, and explained in detail the characteristics and evolution process of each stage. Through rich historical information and vivid examples, he showed teachers and students the prosperity and changes of baby-sitting charities in the Qing Dynasty.

在讲座中，杨博士谈道：“今天这个主题是从我耗时九年的博士论文中截取的一小部分，我之所以研究这个方向，是因为我是一个‘阴谋论者’，我认为福利与慈善之所以能够延续，是因为做慈善者有利可图。”

In his lecture, Dr. Yand said, "Today's topic is a small portion taken from my nine-year-long doctoral dissertation, which I researched in this direction because I am a 'conspiracy theorist,' and I believe that welfare and charity perpetuate themselves because it is profitable for those who do it. "

他认为我们不应该对立国家与社会在慈善事业中所扮演的角色，反而应该去研究国家与社会合作所产生的官绅合办模式究竟为清朝的慈善事业带来了怎样的影响。

Instead of opposing the roles of the government and society in philanthropy, he argues that we should examine how the government-gentry co-operation model resulting from state-society cooperation actually influenced philanthropy in the Qing Dynasty.

在介绍过程中，杨博士特别提到了他所使用的资源，包括碑刻、档案、地方志与征信录等。他通过举例，向师生们展示了这些资源在研究清代育婴慈善事业中的重要作用。

During the presentation, Dr. Yang made special mention of the resources he used, including rubbings of stele inscriptions, state archives, local gazetteers and accounts of accountability. By giving examples, he showed students and faculty the important role of these resources in the study of Qing Dynasty baby-sitting charities.

讲座结束后，同学们纷纷向杨博士提问，就清代社会经济学和慈善事业的相关问题进行了深入的交流和探讨。杨博士耐心细致地回答了每个问题，并给予了同学们宝贵的建议和指导。

After the lecture, students asked Dr. Yang questions and had in-depth exchanges and discussions on issues related to social economics and philanthropy in the Qing Dynasty. Dr. Yang answered every question patiently and carefully, and gave the students valuable advice and guidance.

此次讲座不仅让师生们对清代育婴慈善事业有了更深入的了解，也激发了他们对中国古代社会经济体制的兴趣。尤其是一些低年级的同学，通过这次讲座，对自己的专业选择有了更明确的方向。

The lecture not only gave teachers and students a deeper understanding of Infant Welfare in the Qing Dynasty, but also stimulated their interest in the social and economic system of ancient China. Especially some students from the lower grades had a clearer direction for their professional choices through this lecture.
