On July 25, 2024, students from Beijing BISS International School (also known as JPED Academy) had the privilege of visiting the Chinese Embassy in Kenya. They were warmly received by Ambassador Zhou Pingjian, who engaged them in an enlightening discussion. This visit was a highlight of their Kenya study tour, offering invaluable insights into China's diplomatic affairs and the China-Kenya relationship.

2024年7月25日上午，北京BISS（达罗捷派）国际学校的学生们前往中国驻肯尼亚大使馆，周平剑大使亲切接见了同学们，并与他们进行了深入座谈。此次访问不仅为同学们提供了宝贵的机会深入了解中国的外交事务及中肯两国关系，更是对他们在肯尼亚的研学之旅画上了浓墨重彩的一笔。

Ambassador Zhou provided a comprehensive overview of the longstanding friendship between China and Kenya. He highlighted the positive impact of China's Belt and Road Initiative projects in Kenya and the extensive bilateral cooperation in various sectors including education, culture, and economy. The Ambassador encouraged the students to make the most of this learning opportunity and actively engage in youth exchanges to strengthen the bond between the two nations.

周大使对同学们的到来表示了热烈的欢迎，并详细介绍了中肯两国源远流长的友好关系。他强调了中国在肯尼亚"一带一路"倡议下的多个援建项目，以及两国在教育、文化、经济等领域的广泛合作发挥了非常积极的作用。他鼓励学生们珍惜此次宝贵的学习机会，积极参与中肯两国青年友好交流，为两国关系的发展贡献力量。

Notably, Ambassador Zhou drew inspiration from the students' visit, likening them to the many influential women in Kenya society who have made significant contributions in government, diplomacy, and national defense. He urged the students to emulate these role models, pursue their dreams resolutely, continuously develop their skills, and strive to become future bridges for China-Kenya relations.

周大使特别指出：“今天参加访谈的同学们，让我想起了肯尼亚许多在社会各界发挥积极作用的女性。她们在政府、外交、国防等领域作出了卓越的贡献。希望同学们能够以她们为榜样，坚定自己的梦想，不断提升能力和素质，积极参与到社会的各个方面，努力成为未来中肯两国友好交流和合作的重要桥梁和推动者。”

The interactive Q&A session saw enthusiastic participation from the students, with Ambassador Zhou patiently addressing each query and commending their inquisitiveness.
