在2024-2025这个充满活力的学年伊始,东莞暨大港澳子弟学校DSE学部迎来了一群才华横溢、经验丰富的新老师。


他们之中,有来自香港的资深教师,也有来自内地的双语教师,我们相信,这些新老师的加入,将使东莞ASJ成为一个更加多元化、高品质的学习港湾。他们将与我们现有的教师团队一起,共同为学生提供一个充满爱、关怀和挑战的学习氛围。


下面,让我们一起来认识下这些新老师们吧!



郑俊昇老师 (中国香港)

公民与社会发展科 学科主任



郑俊昇老师是一名来自香港的资深教师,他持有香港中文大学宗教研究文学士(一等荣誉)学位。其后,他在香港大学取得教育文凭(主修通识教育),并在香港中文大学取得教育行政及领导教育硕士学位。在专业方面,郑老师曾担任基督教香港信义会信义中学学位教师、李求恩纪念中学高级学位教师。

郑俊昇老师在东莞ASJ任教的是HKDSE课程的公民与社会发展科及中国历史科。郑老师在香港担任中学教师十余年,曾任科目主任、价值教育组组长、国安教育委员会主席及教师校董,有丰富的任教公开考试班及教育行政经验。

郑老师相信教育是一个“实践”和“获得”的过程,唯有让学生尝试将课堂所学实践出来,反复尝试,才能让学生获得属于他们的知识。郑老师希望每一位同学都能用自己建构出来的知识,创造一片属于他们的天空。



云清花老师 (中国香港)

英文科 学科主任



云清花老师是一位经验丰富的英语及旅游与款待科教师。云老师怀着强烈的使命感,相信教育的力量可以正面地改变生命和社会。

云老师拥有英国华威大学英语教学硕士学位、香港中文大学普通话教育硕士学位、香港城市大学英语教学(荣誉)文学士学位、香港中文大学教育文凭,以及加拿大西门菲沙大学的专业资格课程。云老师拥有香港和加拿大的教学资格,曾在香港和加拿大的学校任教并经营教育中心超过25年。云老师透过进修、教学,以及担任英文科联络员、旅款科主任、全港性评估、香港中学会考及香港中学文凭的监考及评卷员,对不同教育制度及课程的要求有深入了解。  

除了专业工作之外,云老师还是一位充满热情的学习者,积极参与在职专业发展。透过她的努力,她已经完成中学管理课程、旅游与款待课程、训育与辅导、生涯教育等课程,使她能够为学生提供全面的建议,培养领导才能,支援他们的学习和个人发展。在建立学生学习信心与培养兴趣的同时,云老师带领学生在公开比赛及考试如香港中学会考、香港中学文凭等中取得佳绩。无数莘莘学子在她的熏陶及培育下,顺利考入世界顶尖大学及在职场上身居要职。  



黎国荣老师 (中国香港)

科学科 学科主任



黎国荣老师毕业于香港中文大学生物系,获荣誉理学士学位,他亦获香港中文大学教育专业文凭。黎老师曾任职资助中学生物科学位老师,后获晋升为高级学位教师,前后合共38年。期间黎老师任学校生物科科主任三十多年,任学校课外活动主任八年直至退休。

在退休前,黎老师获香港教育署委任为生物科教学语文委员会及教科书委员会之成员多年,亦曾任多届的高级程度会考、香港中学会考及香港中学文凭试生物科评卷员。

黎老师认为 "教育工作就是为社会育材",主张运用灵活多变的教学方法,启发学生对科学的兴趣,为大学进修之路打好基础。



施瑞林老师 (中国香港)

数学科教师



施瑞林老师毕业于香港科技大学,本科是化学及环境工程学系;随后在香港中文大学修毕中学学位教师教育文凭课程,主修数学科,副修化学科。


自2016年开始,施老师就在香港的中学任教,任教的科目主要包括初中的综合科学科、初中的数学科还有高中DSE数学科,对中学数学科的HKDSE课程十分了解。他的教学理念昰“亦师亦友,精益求精”,与学生并肩同行,当学生们遇到任何问题时,也可以在任何时间、任何地点找他发问与求得解答;同时也会根据每位学生的实际学习情况提供适当的教学策略。



邓美云老师 (中国香港)

公民与社会发展科教师 



邓美云老师毕业于香港浸会大学中国研究(社会学)学士学位,其后取得香港理工大学英语研究文学硕士学位。

邓老师认为一位老师可以在青少年的成长和学习道路上发挥重要作用,在当中为他们提供帮助和陪伴他们。由于邓老师在不同的机构有近十年的教学经验,所以她熟悉学生的想法,以及如何纠正他们在学习和行为中常见的错误。她主要关注学生的学习态度、相互交流和复习。



邓洛婷老师 (中国香港)

公民与社会发展科教师



邓洛婷老师毕业于上海外国语大学俄语专业,并完成了美国莫兰大学的教师认证课程。在加入东莞ASJ之前,她曾在上海的一所国际学校担任过三年的寄宿女管家和全球公民教师。

邓老师的教学风格是以学生为中心,培养批判性思维和参与。凭借三年的高中教学经历,她适应了不同的学习需求,创造了一个包容的环境。她的教学方法强调通过讨论、小组工作和实际应用进行互动学习,使用技术来增强课程。她鼓励成长的心态,帮助学生接受挑战,从错误中学习。她的目标是让学生具备应对不断变化的世界的技能和信心,使他们成为有担当、有见解的全球公民。



何婉婷老师 (中国香港)

地理科教师



何婉婷老师持有香港中文大学社会科学学士学位(一等荣誉)。其后她在香港中文大学继续深造,分别取得教育深造文凭、教育深造高级文凭(升学辅导及辅导)及学学校辅导及辅导文学硕士学位。

何老师有9年在香港教授地理科目的经验。她曾在扶轮社第3450区举办的交换教师计划中到澳洲珀斯任教,并代表香港在“两岸四地中学地理教育研讨会”示范《空气循环》的教学,她得到四个地区老师的一致好评。她认为老师应该为学生树立良好的榜样,并与学生一起追求美好的人生。她相信学生的潜能发挥多大,很大程度取决于老师的教学方式。

她擅长探究式学习,利用适当的问题和场景来引导学生学习地理。她在领导实地考察方面经验丰富,让学生能够应用在学校学到的知识。她曾组织学生前往新加坡、澳洲、贵州、西安、上海等地进行实地考察,帮助学生开拓视野。



杨浩钧老师(中国香港)

数学科及物理科教师



杨浩钧老师持有香港大学医学硕士学位,以及香港理工大学学士学位。这些丰富的学术背景,为他在教学工作中奠定了坚实的科学原理和分析思维基础。

杨老师拥有8年以上的高中教学经验,涉及物理、生物、科学和数学等多个学科。这些教学历练,使他对所授课程有了深入的理解和把握,并不断完善自身的教学方法,以激发学生对科学的热爱,培养他们的批判性思维和解决问题的能力。杨老师善于以简明扼要的方式解释复杂的概念,营造出积极向上的学习氛围,深受学生和同事的好评。



林晓婷老师(中国香港)

经济科教师



林晓婷老师毕业于香港大学,获教育学学士学位及社会科学学士学位(主修社会学)。在港大学习期间,她对社会动态和培育包容和支持环境的重要性有了深刻的认识。在香港多所中学从事DSE教学工作期间,她教授的科目包括公民与社会发展、经济学和生命与社会。这种实践经验使她培养了很强的课堂管理技能,创造了引人入胜的课程计划,并有效地将复杂的概念传达给学生。



林芷琦老师 (中国香港)

中文科教师



林芷琦老师持有香港教育大学中国语文教育荣誉双学士学位(副修心理学),她曾在香港多所学校积极从事中文教学工作,亦曾在香港多所学校及担任讲座讲师,推广中华文化。

林老师接受香港教学多年,对DSE制度十分了解,曾在DSE考试中获得佳绩,中文考卷总分5,写作与综合分卷分别获得5*和5**,其后加入香港教育大学修读中国语文教育,期间不断磨练个人教学技巧,并副修心理学,帮助她在教学过程中能更了解学生,且帮助他们获得有趣实用的课堂,所以她经常研究深入简出的表述方式,务求让学生能具体明白课堂知识且能灵活运用,并且通过不同的历史故事帮助同学加深对课堂知识的印象。



陈惠玲老师

企业、会计与财务概论科及数学科教师



陈惠玲老师拥有四年作为双语会计教师的教学经验。陈惠玲老师坚信教育不仅仅是传授知识,更重要的是激发学生内心的学习热情,培养他们独立思考、解决问题的能力,成为有责任感、有爱心的社会公民。

在4年的会计学科教学中,陈老师致力于将复杂的理论知识与生动有趣的实例相结合,使课堂严谨而充满乐趣。她鼓励学生提出问题,接受挑战。同时,她也非常重视培养学生的实践能力和团队合作精神。她相信,通过团体的共同努力和不断探索,学生们在终身学习的道路上一定能走得更远,走得更稳。



许悦老师

英文科教师



许悦老师是香港教育大学对外英语教学硕士,拥有雅思7分的成绩。作为一名教师,许悦老师热爱与学生相处的每一刻。她秉持“严慈相济”的原则,不仅传授知识,更注重培养学生正确的三观和价值观。她深信每个学生都是独特的个体,因此坚持因材施教,根据学生的不同特点采取差异化的教学方法,助力他们实现个性化发展。

在教学中,许老师不仅仅关注学生的成绩,更重视他们的整体成长和进步。她坚信,只有循序渐进、耐心细致的引导,学生才能真正掌握知识,养成良好的学习习惯。帮助每个学生实现自我突破,也是许老师作为教师的根本追求和信念。



刘嘉婧老师

英文科教师



刘嘉婧老师是香港教育大学积极心理学研究生,曾任职为香港消费者委员会教育部志愿教师(英文班)以及香港教育大学语言学习中心学生导师。

她的教学理念是:教育以人为对象,教师最重要的是拥有一颗热忱待人的心。刘老师除了关注学生的学术成绩以外,同时还十分注重学生的心理健康。在日常教学中,刘老师善于运用积极心理学发掘、发展学生的潜力和美德,她相信学生是不断发展的个体,因而关注他们的心灵成长尤为重要,她致力于在英语教学过程中提升学生独特的积极心理品质。



卢淑雯老师

英文科教师



卢淑雯老师硕士毕业于香港浸会大学语言研究项目,任教科目为英语,她持有英语专业八级证书及英语中学教师资格证,雅思7分。

卢老师性格开朗乐观,善于观察,热爱教育事业,在教学上重视英语在实际生活中的运用。卢老师的课堂寓教于乐,让学生在玩中学,在乐中学,善于调动学生的积极性,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中积极主动地参与学习。在教学过程中,卢老师也不断接触更多教学理念和方法,与时俱进,与学生共同进步。



赵逸旭老师

数学科教师



赵逸旭老师毕业于郑州航空工业管理学院,获工学学士学位。她曾任中航工业数据工程师、襄阳一中心学校数学教师;曾获得河南省数学竞赛省奖、河南省百优团支部书记称号以及优秀青年教师称号。

赵老师主讲数学基础知识,授课时注重将知识与兴趣和生活结合,让同学们体会数学的重要性,获得学习的成就感。赵老师的课堂充满活力,贴合学生心理,教学内容深入浅出,注重培养学生的数学思维。



王俊鹏老师

地理科及中文科教师



王俊鹏老师毕业于湖南科技大学汉语国际教育专业。他先后在东南亚、中东的多所孔子学院以及汉语课堂执教中文学科,作为特聘老师,他曾帮助中老铁路培训了第一届职工学生,为中老友谊和国家的"一带一路"建设添砖加瓦。在五年多的国内外教学生涯中,王老师积累了丰富的教学经验。在学生眼中,他是一位幽默风趣、喜欢讲故事的老师。在中文课堂上,他总能用文章背后的故事吸引同学们的注意力,在传授知识的同时,他亦能和同学们建立良好的师生关系,让学生在积极互动的氛围里学有所成。



李佳琪老师 

信息与通信技术教师



李佳琪老师是一位热爱教育并专注于青少年编程教育的教育者,她擅长将复杂的技术知识以生动有趣的方式传授给学生。她能够根据学生的兴趣点,灵活调整教学方法,如项目式学习、游戏化教学等,以激发学生的创造力和探索欲。李老师的教学理念是“寓教于乐,技术为桥”,旨在通过编程教育培养学生的逻辑思维、解决问题的能力及创新思维,为他们搭建通往未来世界的桥梁。



陈康妮老师

心理健康教育教师


陈康妮老师是香港教育大学心理学(学校及社区)研究生,持有高级中学心理教师资格证。作为一名充满创新思维的年轻心理健康教师,陈老师的教学方式偏向多媒体化与启发式教学,擅长采用案例分析的和小组讨论的形式,引导学生积极思考并大胆表述观点和想法,同时,她也能通过发散亲和力的方式与学生构建良好的师生沟通关系。在教学中,陈老师强调“以人为本”的教育理念,悉心关注学生成长和全面发展,尊重并关注学生的差异性和多样性。她注重知识的理解和实践相结合,提倡给予学生以多种形式参与、积极体验活动的机会。

At the beginning of the vibrant academic year of 2024-2025, the DSE Department of ASJ (Dongguan) welcomes a group of talented and experienced new teachers.


Among them are senior teachers from Hong Kong and bilingual teachers from the mainland. We believe that the addition of these new teachers will make ASJ (Dongguan) a more diverse and high-quality learning community. They will join our team of teachers to create a learning environment for students filled with love, care, and challenges.


Now, let us get to know these new teachers!


Mr. Jason CHENG (Hong Kong, China)

KLA Leader (Citizenship and Social Development)



Mr. Jason CHENG is a senior and qualified teacher; he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies (First Class Honour) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He furthered his academic credentials with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Major: Liberal studies) at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and with a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Leadership from the CUHK. Professionally, Mr. CHENG served as the Graduate Master at ELCHK Lutheran Secondary School and the Senior Graduate Master at Lee Kau Yan Memorial School.


Mr. CHENG teaches HKDSE Citizenship and Social Development and Chinese History in ASJ (Dongguan). In the past decade, Mr. CHENG took responsibility as a Subject Panel Head, Master of Value Education, Chairman of National Security Education and Teacher Manager, which granted him fruitful experience in both teaching HKDSE subjects and educational administration.


Mr. CHENG believes that education is a process of “practice” and “reward”: Our students may only obtain their medals when they put what they have learned from actual practice. Mr. CHENG truly hopes that every student may create their own world with the knowledge and skills which are constructed by themselves.


Ms. Emily WAN (Hong Kong, China)

KLA Leader (English) 



Ms. Emily WAN is an experienced English and Tourism and Hospitality Studies teacher. With a strong sense of mission, Ms. WAN believes in the power of education which can transfer lives and societies positively.


Ms. WAN received her Master’s Degree in English Language Teaching from the University of Warwick, Master’s Degree in Putonghua Education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, BA (Hons) Teaching English as a Second Language from City University of Hong Kong, PGDE from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Professional Qualification Programme from Simon Fraser University in Canada.  With teaching certifications from Hong Kong and Canada, Ms. WAN has taught in schools and run education centres in Hong Kong and Canada over 25 years. Ms. WAN has a sound understanding of the requirements of different education systems and curricula through education, teaching as well as being the English coordinator, THS Panel, the invigilator and marker of Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA), HKCEE and HKDSE.


In addition to her professional work, Ms. WAN is a passionate learner who actively participates in ongoing professional development. With her commitment, she has completed courses in Secondary School Management, Tourism and Hospitality Studies, Discipline and Counselling, Careers Education, which enables her to offer comprehensive advice to students to develop leadership skills, support their learning and personal development.  While developing students’ confidence and interests in learning, Ms. WAN has led students to great successes in public completions and examinations such as HKCEE and HKDSE. Under her influence and nurturing, countless students have been successfully admitted to the world's top universities and held high positions in the workplace.


Mr. LAI KWOK WING (Hong Kong, China)

KLA Leader (Science) 



Mr. LAI KWOK WING graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He also attained a Diploma in Education from the CUHK. Mr. LAI was appointed as a Graduate Master in Biology, serving as a teacher and was later promoted to Senior Graduate Master, a role he served for 38 years inclusively. During his career, he was appointed as the panel chairman of the Biology subject for more than thirty years. 


Before his retirement, Mr. LAI served as the Master of Extracurricular Activities for eight years. He was also appointed by the Education Department of the HK Government as a member of the "Textbook Committee" and "Committee for Medium of Biology Teaching" for many years. Furthermore, he was a marker for the Biology subject in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination, Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, and Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education for many years.


Mr. LAI believes that "Education is about cultivating talents for society." He advocates for the use of flexible teaching methods to inspire students' interest in science and to lay a solid foundation for university studies.


Mr. SZE Sui Lam (Hong Kong, China)

Maths Teacher 



Mr. SZE Sui Lam graduated from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, major in Chemical and Environmental Engineering. In addition, he studied Postgraduate Diploma of Education (Secondary School) in The Chinese University of Hong Kong, major in Mathematics whereas minor in Chemistry. 


Starting from 2016, Mr. SZE teaches junior form Integrated Science, junior form Mathematics, and also senior form DSE Mathematics. He is very familiar with the HKDSE Mathematics Syllabus. His teaching style is: “Both as a teacher and friend, striving for excellence.” Whenever students encounter any questions, he would stand by there. Students could easily receive their answers anywhere. Meanwhile, he provides appropriate teaching strategies based on students’ learning progress.


Ms. Mavis TANG (Hong Kong, China)

CSD Teacher 



Ms. Mavis TANG graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with a degree in Chinese Studies (Sociology) and obtained a Master of Arts in English Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.


Ms. Mavis thinks a teacher can play a significant role in teenagers’ growth and learning road by facilitating and accompanying them on their ups and downs. She has had teaching experience in different institutions for almost one decade, so she is familiar with students’ thoughts and how to correct their common errors in studying and behaviours. She mainly focuses on students’ learning attitudes, intercommunication, and revision.


Ms. Lorraine DENG (Hong Kong, China)

CSD Teacher



Ms. Lorraine DENG graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Russian Language from Shanghai International Studies University and completed the teaching certification program from Moreland University. She worked at an international school in Shanghai for three years as a boarding house housemistress and a Global Citizenship teacher before joining ASJ (Dongguan).


Her teaching style is student-centred, fostering critical thinking and engagement. With three years of high school experience, she adapted to diverse learning needs, creating an inclusive environment. Her methodology emphasizes interactive learning through discussions, group work, and real-world applications, using technology to enhance lessons. Ms. DENG also encourages a growth mindset, helping students embrace challenges and learn from mistakes. Her goal is to equip students with skills and confidence for an ever-changing world, preparing them to become responsible and informed global citizens.



Ms. HO Yuen Ting (Hong Kong, China)

Geography Teacher 



Ms. HO Yuen Ting holds a Bachelor of Social Science (First Class Honor) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She continued her education by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Education specialising in School Guidance and Counseling, and a Master of Arts in School Guidance and Counseling, all from CUHK.


Ms. HO has taught Geography in Hong Kong for nine years. She has taught in Perth, Australia under the exchange teacher program organized by Rotary Club District 3450.  She represented Hong Kong to demonstrate the teaching of the topic “Air Circulation” in the “Four Regions (the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) across the Strait Seminar” in Beijing. She received unanimous praise from the teachers in the four regions. She believes that teachers should set a good example for students and to pursue excellent life together with students. How well the potential of students can develop depends very much on the way a teacher teaches. 


She is an expert in inquiry-based learning, which uses appropriate questions, problems and scenarios to guide students to learn Geography. She is experienced in leading field trips so that students can apply what they have learnt at school. She has organized field trips to Singapore, Australia, Guizhou, Xi‘an, Shanghai and so on, helping students to widen their horizons. 



Mr. Nelson YEUNG (Hong Kong, China)

Maths & Physics Teacher 



Mr. Nelson YEUNG holds a Master's degree in Medical Science from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and a Bachelor's degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. These rich academic backgrounds have equipped him with a solid foundation in scientific principles and analytical thinking, which has been effectively applied in his teaching career.


Mr. YEUNG has over 8 years of experience teaching a range of subjects, including Physics, Biology, Science, and Mathematics at the secondary school level. Through these years of teaching, he has gained a deep understanding of the subjects he teaches and continuously refined his pedagogical methods to foster a genuine enthusiasm for science, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities among his students. He has often received positive feedback from students and colleagues for his ability to simplify complex concepts and create a positive learning environment.


Ms. Renee LAM (Hong Kong, China)

Economics  Teacher



Ms. Renee LAM obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Bachelor of Social Sciences, majoring in sociology from The University of Hong Kong. During her studies at HKU, she developed a deep understanding of social dynamics and the importance of fostering inclusive and supportive environments. During her practical DSE teaching experience at different Hong Kong secondary schools, she taught Citizenship and Social Development, Economics, and Life and Society.   This hands-on experience allowed her to develop strong classroom management skills, create engaging lesson plans, and effectively deliver complex concepts to students.



Ms. Miki LAM (Hong Kong, China)

Chinese Teacher



Ms. Miki LAM holds a Double Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Chinese Language Education(Minor in Psychology)from The Education University of Hong Kong. She has been actively engaged in teaching Chinese in numerous schools in Hong Kong. In addition to her teaching duties, she has also promoted Chinese culture and served as lecturer in many schools in Hong Kong.


Ms. LAM has extensive experience teaching in Hong Kong and is well-versed in the DSE curriculum. She previously received great scores in the DSE exam, including an overall level of 5 in the Chinese subject, 5* in the writing paper and 5** in the comprehension paper. After that, she enrolled in Hong Kong Education University to pursue a degree in Chinese language education. There, she refined her own methods of instruction and chose to minor in Psychology, which enabled her to gain a deeper understanding of her students and provide them with engaging and useful lessons. She therefore frequently researches clear and comprehensive ways of expressing ideas so that students may grasp the materials in the classroom and apply them in a variety of ways. She also assists students in developing a deeper understanding of the materials by using various historical narratives.



Ms. Linda Huiling CHEN 

BAFS & Maths Teacher



Ms. Linda Huiling CHEN has four years of teaching experience as a bilingual accounting teacher. Ms. CHEN firmly believes that education is not only about imparting knowledge, but also about igniting students' inner passion for learning, developing their abilities to think independently, solve problems, and become responsible and caring citizens of society.


In the 4-year teaching of accounting subjects, she is committed to combining complex theoretical knowledge with vivid and interesting examples to make the class rigorous and full of fun. She often encourages students to ask questions and take up challenges. At the same time, she also attaches great importance to cultivating students' practical ability and teamwork spirit. She believes that through joint efforts and continuous exploration, students will be able to go further and more stable in their life-long learning.


Ms. Sherry XU 

English Teacher



Ms. Sherry XU has a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (Distinction) (EMI) from the Education University of Hong Kong, with IELTS band 7.0. 


As a teacher, Ms. XU deeply cherishes every moment of getting along with students. She upholds the principle of being both strict and compassionate, not only imparting knowledge but also focusing on cultivating students' correct values and perspectives. She firmly believes that each student is a unique individual, so she insists on teaching according to individual differences, adopting differentiated teaching methods based on students' unique characteristics to help them achieve personalized development. In teaching, she not only focuses on students' grades but also attaches great importance to their overall growth and progress. She believes that only through systematic and patient guidance could students truly master knowledge and develop good study habits. Helping each student to achieve self-breakthrough is also the fundamental pursuit and belief of her role as a teacher.


Ms. Cindy LIU 

English Teacher



Ms. Cindy LIU graduated from The Education University of Hong Kong with a postgraduate degree in Positive Psychology. She has worked as a volunteer English teacher in the Education Department of the Hong Kong Consumer Council and as a student tutor at the Language Learning Centre of the Education University of Hong Kong.


Ms. LIU's teaching philosophy is that education should be student-centred, and the most important attribute for a teacher is to have a warm heart. Besides focusing on students' academic performance, Ms. LIU also places great emphasis on students' mental health. In her daily teaching, Ms. LIU is good at using positive psychology to explore the potential and virtues of students. She believes that students are constantly developing individuals, so it is particularly important to pay attention to their psychological growth. Ms. LIU is dedicated to improving the unique positive psychological qualities of her students during her teaching.



Ms. Sienna LU 

English Teacher 



Ms. Sienna LU is an English teacher with a Master's degree in Language Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University. Holder of the TEM-8 certificate and High School English Teacher Qualification Certificate, with IELTS band 7.0. 


With an outgoing and optimistic personality, Ms. LU is observant and passionate about education. Her teaching emphasizes the practical application of English in daily life. She's good at combining education with recreation, incorporating educational games and activities that allow students to learn with enjoyment. This approach fosters student engagement and encourages active participation in a relaxing and enjoyable classroom atmosphere. In the process of teaching, Ms. LU also exposes herself to more teaching concepts and methods in order to keep abreast of the times and make progress with students together.



Ms. Joyce ZHAO

Maths Teacher



Ms. Joyce ZHAO graduated from Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. She used to be a data engineer at AVIC and a Maths teacher at Xiangyang Central School. Ms. ZHAO has won the Provincial Prize of the Henan Provincial Mathematics Competition, Outstanding Communist Youth League Leader and Outstanding Young Teacher.


Ms. ZHAO teaches the basic knowledge of Mathematics and pays attention to combining knowledge with interest and life in teaching so that students can realise the importance of Mathematics and get a sense of achievement in learning. Ms. ZHAO's classroom is always full of vitality and closely aligned with students' mindsets. She is good at transforming esoteric knowledge into content that is easy for students to understand, thus cultivating students' mathematical thinking.


Mr. Tarquin WANG 

Geography & Chinese Teacher 



Mr. Tarquin WANG graduated from Hunan University of Science and Technology with a major in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. He has taught Chinese in multiple Confucius Institutes in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. As a special teacher, he helped train the first class of staff of the China-Laos Railway, contributing to the development of the country's "Belt and Road Initiative". Over more than five years of teaching both domestically and internationally, Mr. WANG has accumulated a wealth of teaching experience. From the perspectives of his students, Mr. WANG is a witty teacher who enjoys telling stories. In his classes, he always captures the students' attention with the stories behind the teaching content. He is also good at establishing a pleasant teacher-student relationship, allowing students to learn in a positive and interactive atmosphere.


Ms. Kiki LI

ICT Teacher 



Ms. Kiki LI is an educator who loves education and focuses on youth programming education. Ms. LI is good at imparting complex technical knowledge to students in a vivid and interesting way. She can also flexibly adjust teaching methods according to students' interests, such as project-based learning and gamification teaching to stimulate students' creativity and desire to explore. Her teaching philosophy is "Education with fun and technology as a bridge". It aims to cultivate students' logical thinking, problem-solving ability and innovative thinking through programming education, and build a bridge to the future world for them.



Ms. Connie CHEN 

Psychology Teacher



Ms. Connie CHEN graduated from The Education University of Hong Kong with a postgraduate degree in Psychology Psychology (Schools and Community Settings). She holds the Psychology teaching Certificate for Senior secondary schools. As a young Psychology teacher full of innovative ideas, Ms. CHEN prefers multi-media and heuristic teaching methods. She is good at case analysis and group discussion to guide students to think positively and express their opinions and ideas boldly. At the same time, she is also good at building good communication relationships between teachers and students. In teaching, Ms. CHEN emphasises the "people-oriented" education concept, pays close attention to the growth and all-round development of students, and respects and pays attention to the differences and diversity of students. She pays attention to the combination of knowledge understanding and practice and advocates giving students opportunities to participate in various forms and actively experience activities.


Once again, we warmly welcome all new teachers, whose arrival has further strengthened our teaching force. Below is the current teaching team of the DSE Department of ASJ (Dongguan).
