PYP 3 COLA|多维度了解生态系统,共同守护共享责任

PYP 3 COLA 活动于3月8日举行,家长和学生们共同参加小学课程(PYP)第4单元的成果展示的活动。本单元的主题是“共享地球”,以“明智的选择有助于维护生态系统的平衡”这一核心理念为重点内容展开。

 

On March 8, 2024, parents and students gathered for another much-awaited Celelbration of Learning (COLA) to celebrate and participate in an event showcasing the culmination of Unit 4 of the PYP3. The theme for this unit is "Sharing the Planet," focusing on the central idea that "Informed choices contribute to maintaining the balance within ecosystems." 



在活动中,学生们热情而自信地展示了他们对生态系统及其相互依赖的理解。学生们分享了关于明智选择在维护这些生态系统平衡方面起到关键作用的见解并重点强调人类如何积极参与保护和维护自然的微妙平衡。  


During the event, students enthusiastically presented their understanding of ecosystems and their interdependence. The young minds shared insights on how informed choices play a crucial role in maintaining balance within these ecosystems. The emphasis was on how humans can actively contribute to protecting and preserving the delicate balance of nature. 


活动的一个亮点是学生们用二维模型的艺术方式表达学习成果。这制作这个手工模型的体验为他们对生态系统增添了更加丰富生动的理解。 


One highlight of the event is the artisitc expression of learning in the form of dioramas. These visual representations added a creative touch to their understanding of ecosystems. 



在体育(PE)课上,学生们与家长一起参与了一个有趣的互动活动。这个游戏需要把圆环扔进一个金字塔里,丰富了家长和学生的活动参与感同时获取相关的知识。这个游戏旨在通过根据圆环落地的位置来展示生物链层级平衡的概念。整个房间充满了笑声和快乐,同学们和家长们参与了友好的竞争。 


In the Physical, Social and Physical Education (PE) station, students engaged in a fun and interactive activity with their parents. The game involved throwing rings inside a pyramid, challenging both parents and students. The game aimed to demonstrate the concept of balance by indicating different levels based on where the ring landed. Laughter and enjoyment filled the room as families participated in the friendly competition. 



在教室外面,学生们将自己制作的充满活力的食物金字塔海报展示给所有人看。这些海报展示了学生们对第4单元所学概念知识的掌握。  


Outside the classrooms, vibrant food pyramid posters created by the students were displayed. These posters served as a visual reminder of the students' grasp of the concepts of maintaining a healthy and balanced diet learned in Unit 4.

 


本单元的学术主题在一场关于国际妇女节的庆祝活动中得到了升华。学生们为自己的母亲准备了一场特别的演讲,肯定和庆祝女性在我们生活中的重要角色。 


The celebration extended beyond the academic theme as the last station commemorated International Women's Day. The students prepared a special presentation for their mothers, acknowledging and celebrating the significant role of women in our lives. 



总而言之,这个活动不仅展示了学生们的学业成就,还展示了他们将这些概念应用于现实生活情境的能力。这些有趣的活动和演示突显了明智选择在维护生态系统平衡的重要性。学生、家长和教师之间的合作使COLA成为了一个学习、欢笑和庆祝的日子。 


The event not only showcased the students' academic achievements but also their ability to apply these concepts in real-life situations. The engaging activities and presentations highlighted the importance of informed choices and maintaining balance within ecosystems. The collaboration between students, parents, and educators resulted in a day of learning, laughter, and celebration at COLA.
