The organisation of the ‘Hong Kong-Hubei Education Integration and Innovation and Hong Kong DSE Education Development Forum’ is rooted in the profound foundation and common vision of education co-operation between Hong Kong and Hubei. Since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Hubei Provincial Government and the Hong Kong SAR Government on the ‘Hong Kong-EU High Level Meeting and the First Meeting of the Hong Kong-EU Co-operation Meeting’ in 2021, the two sides have launched in-depth co-operation in various fields, including science, education and culture, and have been committed to promoting the integration of humanistic exchanges and mutual benefits and win-win situations.
Against this background, this forum aims to further explore new modes and paths of education integration between Hong Kong and Hubei, share the latest achievements and experiences in the development of DSE education, and set up a communication platform for parents and students to understand the trend of international education and explore new opportunities for further studies.

In response to the national policy call to enhance Hong Kong's status as an international education hub, the HKSAR Government has been actively promoting the internationalisation of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (DSE).
The only international exam can use Chinese answer:
As the only international examination in the world that allows answers to be given in simplified Chinese, the DSE not only lowers the language threshold for non-native-speaking candidates, but also enhances the international recognition of the examination results.

Its results are widely recognised by a total of 600 universities in 19 countries and regions, including the UK, the US, Canada and Australia. This advantage not only provides Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students with more diversified choices for further studies, but also provides mainland students with a brand new pathway to international higher education.

香港优才(杨殷有娣)书院（G.T(Ellen Yeung) College，以下简称“优才书院”）是香港本地一所全日制一条龙的BAND1直资学校，同时开设DSE及IB双轨课程。优才书院近年DSE考试成绩中，87.9%的学生达到了大学录取线(全港平均42.1%)，为全港的2.1倍；29.6%的学生的11个科目成绩达到5级（5级为DSE考试最高级）。

G.T(Ellen Yeung) College (hereinafter referred to as ‘G.T(Ellen Yeung) College’) is a full-time, one-stop BAND1 Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) school in Hong Kong, offering both DSE and IB programmes. In recent years, 87.9% of our students have achieved university entrance exams (average of 42.1%), which is 2.1 times higher than that of the whole of Hong Kong, and 29.6% of our students have attained Level 5 in 11 subjects (Level 5 is the highest level of the DSE exams).
