喜报 | 超强台风也挡不住，ASJ学子在2024年未来之城夏季展评中斩获多项殊荣！

七月正值广东雨季，7月下旬，17级超强台风“格美”来袭，不间断的天气预警让师生担心能否准时到达比赛现场。正值出发前夕，ASJ学子收到了高铁停运的突发消息。

受到台风影响，广州至厦门高铁全线停运，ASJ参赛团队迅速调整策略，师生在校内转战线上赛场！这不仅是对技术的考验，更是对意志与团队精神的极致磨砺。

比赛的坎坷之路，也见证了同学们从最初的慌乱到最终的从容应对。日程的临时调整、比赛环境的转变、人员的紧急协调、展示内容的即时更新……每一个难关，都是他们成长的阶梯。

在这场别开生面的比赛中，我校学子以坚定不移的信念和永不言弃的毅力，充分展现了卓越的精神风貌。他们用实际行动诠释了“挑战即机遇”的真谛，展现了ASJ学子坚韧不拔的精神风貌！

每一份荣誉背后，都是学生们夜以继日的努力与指导老师们不辞辛劳的陪伴。

未来之城®是一项享誉全球的项目式（project-based learning）教育活动。该活动面向中小学生，要求学生以团队为单位，通过项目式的学习方式，设计一座未来100年后的城市，最终设计过程和成果通过项目日志、城市论文、物理模型、展示答辩等方式进行展示。

组委会每年发布不同的城市挑战主题，如人口老龄化、能源危机、水资源、垃圾困境、气候变化、弱势群体关怀等与城市可持续发展息息相关的问题，要求学生在城市设计中思考如何应对年度挑战主题。

2024年度未来之城夏季展评有包括北京、广州、上海、澳门在内的全国19个城市、300名小工程师、47座充满创意的未来之城、100多名指导老师及家长参与。

2024-2025年度未来之城夏季展评挑战主题是针对城市中与人类生活息息相关的重大问题，面向1 0 0年后的未来，提出一种发展可持续、社会包容友好、人与自然和谐相处的城市设计方案。

On the eve of their departure, ASJ students received the unexpected news that the high-speed railway was suspended.

Affected by the typhoon, the entire Guangzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway was suspended, and the teachers and students were transferred to the online race on campus!

Temporary adjustments to the schedule, shifts in the competition environment, emergency coordination of personnel, and instant updating of displays ...... Every difficult hurdle was a stepping stone to their growth.

Behind every honour is the night and day efforts of the students and the tireless companionship of the instructors.

It is worth mentioning that our students also represented Guangzhou in online form and participated in the city tour of this event, showing the style and talent of Guangzhou students!

Future City® is a world-renowned project-based learning programme. It is open to primary and secondary school students, who are required to work in teams to design a city 100 years in the future through project-based learning, and the final design process and results are presented through a project journal, a city essay, a physical model, and a presentation and defence.

The 2024 Future City Summer Showcase had the participation of 19 cities across China, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Macau, 300 young engineers, 47 creative cities of the future, and more than 100 instructors and parents.
