PCA Movie Night & Welcome Back Picnic｜PCA电影之夜与欢迎返校野餐活动

The start of the year has already been incredibly successful for our Parents & Community Association (PCA), with two great events igniting our events calendar last week.
We supported the PCA with their inaugural ‘movie night’ on Friday, with a cinema-style viewing of Paddington: The Movie, and were joined by a variety of our students and parents in the theatre. Families enjoyed popcorn, drinks, and other snacks while they enjoyed the movie on the new LED screen which was installed earlier this year. All proceeds from ticket and refreshments sales help to go towards the wonderful charities our PCA support across the year. Because of the success of the event, the PCA have confirmed the next movie night for Friday 20th September when we'll show The Incredibles. More information can be found in the poster below.
Following hot on the heels of our movie night, on Saturday morning the PCA arranged a Welcome Back Picnic on campus, helping new and returning families to meet each other, enjoy food/drinks, activities, music, and games. Although the weather was quite warm, it was wonderful to see those who came along, especially the children who played together and enjoyed the day. A special thanks to Santa Fe Relocation who sponsored the event and provided a bouncy castle for our students to use.
These two events are the first in a series of PCA-led events, the next of which is our Staff Appreciation Day on 10th September. The first major NAIS Pudong community event – Bonfire Night and Diwali Celebrations - is also available for advance ticket sales now and will take place on Sunday 3rd November. Last year was a great success and we hope to see you all there this year too. Again, we’ll provide more detailed information about the event over the coming weeks.
新学年伊始，上周由我们家委会（PCA）举办的两场精彩活动取得了令人难以置信的成功。
上周五，学校与PCA共同举办了首届“电影之夜”，许多学生和家长都来参加了这次活动，一起在电影院观看了《帕丁顿》。大家一边享用着爆米花、饮料和其他小吃一边欣赏电影，值得一提的是新学年开始前安装的LED屏幕让观影体验更加出色。所有门票及食品销售的收益将用于支持PCA全年所捐助的慈善机构。由于此次活动的成功举办，PCA 已确定下一次电影之夜将于 9 月 20 日星期五举行，届时我们将放映《超人总动员》。更多信息请见下面的海报。
继电影之夜之后， PCA又于周六上午在校园内举办了欢迎返校野餐活动，帮助新老家庭相互认识。大家一起享受美食和饮料、参与各种活动、音乐和游戏。尽管天气很热，但我们非常高兴看到大家的积极参与，特别是孩子们在阳光下一起玩耍，度过了美好的一天。此外，特别感谢 Santa Fe Relocation 公司的赞助，并为我们的学生免费提供了充气城堡。
这两场活动是首次由PCA主导的系列活动，接下来的是9月10日的教职工感谢日。11月，NAIS Pudong即将迎来第一个大型社区活动——篝火之夜和光明节庆祝活动——目前已开始预售门票，该活动将于11月3日（星期日）举行。这项活动在去年取得了巨大成功，今年我们依旧非常期待大家的到来。同样，我们将在未来几周内提供有关该活动的更多详细信息。
