践行“全人教育”的教学理念，鼓励学生们全面发展，莱克顿以颁发荣誉领带的形式，表彰在过去一年中，在学术、艺术、体育、品格等方面表现卓越的学生。作为上海莱克顿创校以来的特色传统，八条荣誉领带象征着莱克顿人的精神、品质和风貌。

In keeping with its philosophy of "educating the whole person" and encouraging the all rounded students’ development, Lucton recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in academics, arts, sports, and character over the past year by presenting them with glory ties. A tradition since the founding of Lucton Shanghai, the eight glory ties symbolize the spirit, quality and style of Luctonians.

年复一年，莱克顿学子将沿着每一届优秀校友的光辉足迹，去创造历史、书写属于自己的篇章。荣誉领带获得者须在下一个学年佩戴这条领带，这是身份和荣誉的象征，是对学校的归属感和个人的荣誉感。同时，学校希望其他学生可以以他们为榜样，追求成功，精进卓越，团结向上。

Year after year, Lucton students will follow in the glorious footsteps of each class of outstanding alumni to make history and write their own chapters. Recipients of the glory tie are required to wear this tie in the next school year, which is a symbol of identity and honour, a sense of belonging to the school and a sense of personal honour. At the same time, the school hopes that other students can follow their example in the pursuit of success, refinement of excellence and unity.

莱克顿人拥有服务精神。我们深入了解那些需要帮助的个人、社区和环境所面临的问题及挑战，充分发挥我们的社会和环境责任感。这份荣誉奖项是为了表彰为集体做出重大贡献，并且助人为乐、先人后己的学生。

Luctonians have a spirit of service. We understand the issues and challenges facing individuals, communities, and the environment in need, and we fully utilize our sense of social and environmental responsibility. This honorary award recognizes a student who has made a significant contribution to the community and has helped others before themselves.

莱克顿人拥有冒险精神。这份荣誉奖项是为了表彰主动寻找机遇发展和突破自己，克服前进道路上的挫折障碍，并能够发挥潜能超越期待的学生。

Luctonians have a spirit of adventure. This honorary award recognizes students who take the initiative to seek out opportunities to develop and break through, overcome frustrating obstacles along the way, and are able to reach their potential to exceed expectations.

莱克顿人拥抱国际主义精神。这份荣誉奖项是为了表彰那些尊重、维护和发扬民族特性、文化、传统和遗产的必要性，同时寻求机会发展国际和跨文化理解机会的学生。

Luctonians embrace the spirit of internationalism. This honorary award recognizes students who respect, preserve, and promote the necessity of national identity, culture, tradition, and heritage, while seeking opportunities to develop opportunities for international and cross-cultural understanding.

莱克顿人拥有领导精神。这份荣誉奖项是为了表彰拥有领导精神，愿意服务他人，引导并帮助他人获得进步和成功的学生。

Luctonians possess a spirit of leadership. This honorary award recognizes a student who possesses a spirit of leadership and is willing to serve others by guiding and helping them to progress and success.

在上海莱克顿学校，艺术具有巨大的价值，它是全人教育的重要部分。表达艺术部在培养学生批判性思维、创造力、沟通能力和自信方面发挥着至关重要的作用。表达艺术奖声誉卓越，这份荣誉以表彰对艺术充满热情并在音乐、戏剧或舞蹈方面取得杰出成就的学生。

The arts are of tremendous value at Lucton School Shanghai and are an important part of a whole-person education. The Expressive Arts Department plays a vital role in developing students' critical thinking, creativity, communication skills, and self-confidence. The Expressive Arts Award has a reputation for excellence, an honour that recognizes students who have a passion for the arts and have achieved excellence in music, drama, or dance.

体育作为最重要的一项教育，它能教会我们开心、自信、阳光的态度面对人生，它是人一生中最好的教育。体育也是莱克顿全人教育理念中非常重要的一部分。这份荣誉奖项是为了表彰热爱体育运动并且在体育方面表现突出，具有体育精神的学生。

Sports, as one of the most important education, teaches us to be happy, confident and sunny to face life, and it is the best lesson in one's life. Sports are also a very important part of the Lucton philosophy of whole person education. This honorary award recognizes students who love sports and excel in sports and sportsmanship.

校长特优奖是为了表彰在校表现卓越，学术成绩优异，并且对学校发展做出突出贡献的学生。

The Headmaster's Award for Excellence recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in school performance, academic excellence, and have made outstanding contributions to the development of the school.

理事学者奖，这个满载盛誉的奖项是用来表彰在莱克顿社区始终如一允诺并践行我们教育理念的学生。该奖项的获得者学习成绩优异，对全人发展有特殊的承诺，具备很强的领导能力，带领莱克顿人积极全面地参与活动，并坚定不移地表现出高水平莱克顿精神和品格。

The Governor’s Scholar Award, a prestigious award that recognizes a student who consistently promises and practices our educational philosophy in the Lucton community. Recipients of this award have demonstrated academic excellence, an exceptional commitment to whole-person development, strong leadership skills to lead Luctonians to active and comprehensive participation, and an unwavering high level of Lucton spirit and character.

即日起，八条荣誉领带面向所有莱克顿在校生开放申请。申请截止日期为5月1日。

Applications for the eight glory ties are open to all current Lucton students now. The application deadline is May 1st.
