Application in Teaching and Learning
ISNS employs a range of standardized assessments across different grade levels to track academic progress.
For instance, in PYP, students undergo reading assessments three times a year using tools like Running Records, which measure reading ability and fluency. Writing skills are evaluated through assessments based on the "Six Traits of Writing," helping teachers understand and support students in areas like grammar, organization, and word choice.
In MYP, assessments continue with a focus on standardized tests, such as the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress), which are used to track growth in subjects like Math and Reading over time.
