建设上海Building Shanghai II “塑料英雄”绿色上海项目\"Plastic Hero\" Project

11月16-20日，上海宏润博源学校开展了“建设上海”探究式学习活动；同学们走出校园，走进上海这座迷人的大都市，根据自己的兴趣爱好，了解这座城市的过去和现在，并畅想它的未来。将真实的世界作为学习的“书本”, 收获不一样的知识与技能，并获得启发。

During Nov.16-20th, Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School launched its Building Shanghai inquiry-learning projects, during which the students, based on their personal interest, got out of the traditional classrooms, walked into this fascinating city to learn its past and present and imagine its future. Take the real world as the book to learn and to be inspired.

这次学习活动共有十三个项目，涉猎环保、金融、文化等方方面面。因为我对环保一直比较感兴趣，所以就报名了贺莹老师和徐栋老师组织的”塑料英雄“ 绿色上海项目。

There are thirteen projects in total, covering environmental protection, banking, culture exploration, etc. I have always been interested in environmental protection, so I signed up for Ms. He Ying and Dawn Xu's "Plastic Hero" Greener Shanghai project.

一周的时间倏忽而过，周末自己坐在家里，脑子里也浮现了许多感想。

One week flew by quikly. Sitting at home on the weekends, I had so many thoughts inspired by the project.

在这为期四天的学习中，我们每天的日程都排的满满当当，十分充实。

During the four-day learning program, we had a tight schedule every day, which was quire fulfilling.

第一天早上，我们学习了关于“零垃圾”的基本知识。你知道吗，原来真的有人在践行着一种零废弃的生活方式。下午为了了解学校的环保相关情况，项目的同学们分为两个小组，一组采访了学校的清洁工，另一组采访了学校食堂的阿姨。结束采访后，我们经过讨论，记录下给学校提一些环保相关建议，并且就“光盘”的提议作出宣传海报，也收到了同学们的签名承诺和支持。

On the first day, we learned about “Zero Waste” lifestyle. I did not realize until then that some people have been living such a lifestyle to protect the environment. In the afternoon, we were divided into two groups to learn about the waste disposal in our school: one group interviewed our cleaning staff, while the other interviewed our cooking staff. After the interview, we had some discussion and made some proposals to our school in terms of environmental protection. We also made a poster to promote that all shall finish the food on our plate and got many students and teachers to sign up to make a commitement .

第二天上午我们一起观看了关于海洋垃圾的电影。说到这里想问大家一个问题：你们知道全世界每一秒会有多少塑料瓶被扔掉吗？答案是2.2万个。很震惊吧！其实很多时候我们对于环保问题的不重视仅仅是因为我们对一些事实不了解罢了。

In the second morning, we first watched a documentary on rubbish in the ocean. Speaking of rubbish, do you know how many plastic bottles we throw away every second? 2.2 million bottles! Shocking, right? Our ignorance of environmental issues somestimes is because we don't know the facts.

之后，来自朱家角垃圾分类办公室的王老师给我们做了一个令人印象深刻的演讲。其实垃圾分类不仅能改善环境，也是一种国家名誉的提升。下午，我们邀请来了可持续时尚设计师Tingting老师，她带领我们利用废弃布料做了一些布包，我们也在设计上充分发挥了自己的想象力。

Later, Mr. Wang from Zhujiajiao Garbage Sorting Office made an impressive speech for us. We realized that garbage sorting not only can not only improve the environment but also can improve our country's reputation. In the afternon, we invited sustainable fashion designer Ms. Tingting to teach us how to make bags out of the clothes we don't wear anymore or change them into new fashions.

周三我们参观了践行可持续生活方式的作家苹果姐姐家的城市花园。苹果姐姐给我们展示她花园里普通植物的神奇妙用，还教我们如何在家中堆肥。参观时我也才意识到，原来我们的生活方式原来可以变得这么低碳，不仅让家里绿意盎然，格外有情调，还能够抑制全球变暖，减少极端气候，说得难听一点，也能让世界末日来得晚一点。

On Wednesday, we visited the city garden of Ms. Zheng Chenyu , who has been living a sustainable life. She showed us the magic of her city garden and taught us how to make compost at home. During this visit, I realized that we can live such a low-carbon lifestyle, classy and conducive to slow down global warming. To put it in an extreme way, it can also help postpone the coming of humans' doom day.

周四，我们做了街头采访和角色扮演。这一天对我来说可真的是突破自我的一天。首先是采访，对于塑料垃圾常识的知识尽管不难，但是很少有人为我们的采访停下脚步。站在寒风凛冽的街头，我和组员们被拒绝了无数次，还有一组同学真的马上就要放弃了。但是还好，我们愈挫愈勇，成功完成了采访任务，更重要的是，学会了如果向陌生人传达一个积极的信息。角色扮演我们也放手一搏，勇敢的穿的塑料垃圾走上街向大家宣传。在人山人海的南京西路步行街，我们和cosplay组的同学一起，身穿塑料，喊出了我们对上海的期待：Greener Shanghai！也为我们Plastic hero的一天画上完美的句号。

On Thursday, we headed to People' Sqaure to interview people and did a promotion event. Although it was very simple to answer several questions on plastic waste, few people stopped for us. Standing in the cold wind, we were rejected so many times. One group of students were about to give up. Yet, we became more courageous in rejections and finished our interview tasks. More importantly, we learned how to influence strangers on good deeds. In the promotion event, we summoned our courage and put on costumes made of plastic garbage to promote a less-plastic lifestyle. Together with students and faculty members in Cosplay project, we, wearing trash fashion, chanted our slogan " Greener Shanghai" and put a wonderful end to our program on that day.

这几天的浸入式学习让我真切的体会到，我们的地球已经岌岌可危，工业污染，塑料围城，这些就发生在眼前的事情，为什么我之前从未反思过自己的行为? 像贺老师跟我们分享中说的，“环保不是为了拯救地球；地球不需要我们拯救；我们拯救的是我们自己！” 我们也在此呼吁看到这篇文章的读者，在环保方面，我们不能满足于现在短期的胜利，未来仍然需要提升垃圾分类的精细程度，才能继续减少垃圾对世界的危害。

Through this learning program, I deeply felt that our earth is endangered by industrial polution. Weare living in piles of plastic waste, whichis so obvious and which Ihave never paid any attention to. As it is put by Ms. He: Don’t save the Earth！The Earth is doing fine. Save ourselves.
