2020宏润博源戏剧节||SHBS Drama Festival

SHBS戏剧节

编者按:2020年12月14日为上海宏润博源学校戏剧节。下午CAS活动时间,戏剧班的同学们为全体师生带来了十个有趣的短剧,有三个默剧,其余均为不同风格的英文短剧。表演默剧的同学们通过肢体语言,超越了文字语言的边界,演绎了令人啼笑皆非或令人潸然泪下的故事。英文短剧也有古代宫廷剧,现代家庭剧,美国西部牛仔剧,经典电影重现,搞笑烹饪真人秀,小丑独白等等,充满趣味与创意,深深吸引着观众。以下是12年级王琼悦同学关于此次戏剧节的简述。 

Dec. 14th saw the SHBS Drama Festival. At the afternoon CAS session, the students from the drama class performed 10 interesting short plays for all teachers and students, including 3 mimes, and the rest were English short plays of different styles. Through their body language, the students who performed the mimes transcended the boundaries of verbal language and interpreted ironic or tearful stories. English short plays also took the forms of ancient court dramas, modern family dramas, American western cowboy dramas, classic film reproduction, funny cooking reality shows, clown monologue, and so on, which were so funny and creative that the audience were fascinated with their shows. The following is a brief account of this Drama Festival given by Olivia Wang, a 12th grader. 



过去的两周里,作为戏剧班的一员,我的耳边充斥着大家期待且紧张的讨论声。从组成表演小组,确定表演类型,敲定表演剧目,反复排练到最后上台表演,戏剧班的同学总是充满活力。但即使是目睹了一些排练现场,在12月14日下午,我还是被现场的几场剧目表演惊喜到了!

Over the past two weeks, as a member of the drama class, I have constantly been hearing  the heated discussion among our group members who were looking forward to the show. From forming performance groups, determining the type of performance, finalizing the repertoire, rehearsing repeatedly to finally performing on the stage, the students in the drama class were always energetic. But even after witnessing some rehearsals, on the afternoon of December 14th , I was surprised by several performances!



 首先,第一场默剧让我体味到了同一个动作呈现出来的不同表演形式。相信大家都遇到过和朋友的座位之间隔了陌生人的尴尬场面吧?但更尴尬的是当你在电影院看电影时和朋友之间隔了很多个陌生人还想要传达信息的情景。只见坐在最右端的男生想要和坐在最左端的女生打招呼,他先是戳戳自己身边的女生A,然后女生A从一脸疑惑再到点点头同意继续传递动作,但是当她传递招呼到下一位男生时,男生明显表现出了看电影被打扰后的不耐烦。一系列的不同信息传递后,我们体味了戏剧对于日常情景放大化和幽默化的魅力,既让人发笑,又让人不禁自我代入。

  Firstly, the first mime made me realize the different renderings of the same action. I believe everyone has experienced the embarrassing occasion when some stranger sat between you and your friend, right? But what’s even more embarrassing is the scene in which you try to communicate with your friend but with many more strangers sitting in between. The boy sitting at the right end wanted to say hello to the girl sitting at the left end. He poked the girl A next to him first. Then the puzzled girl A nodded and agreed to pass on his greeting, but when she said hello to another boy next to her, the boy was obviously impatient for being disturbed. After the transmission of different information in the series, we realize the charm of drama in that it can amplify daily scenes and make them hilarious, so that people can not only be amused but also identify themselves with the scene.


其次,有一场定格动画的表演让我的思绪在反差色彩浓烈的情境中不停跳跃。开始的时候,一股悲伤阴郁的情绪在舞台上弥漫开来,幻灯片的黑色墓碑让我们意识到这是一个“葬礼现场”,但表演者哭泣和伤心的表情在几分钟后戛然而己,在定格若干秒后,舞台上突然出现了“逝者”和“逝者朋友”打游戏的场景;紧接着又回到了“葬礼现场”,过了一分钟后,“葬礼现场”又转化为“逝者”对一位“女生”乐园求婚的仪式….就这样,在场景反反复复地切换中,我仿佛看了“葬礼”上“逝者”亲友穿插回忆着他一生中极具个人色彩的场景,同时观众的情绪也随着场景的转换上下起伏。

Another funeral-themed mime made my thoughts jump between sharply contrasted situations. At first, a sad and gloomy mood filled the stage, and the black tombstone shown on the screen made us realize that it was a "funeral scene ", but a few minutes later, the performers’ crying and sad expression suddenly froze. After a few seconds, another scene in which the dead got up and started playing video games with his friend. Right after that, the funeral scene reappeared. One minute later, the funeral scene was changed into a courtship ritual in which the dead proposed to his girlfriend. Through the repeated switches of scenes, I seemed to find out that the dead man’s relatives and friends on the funeral took turns at bringing back memories in his life, making the audience's emotions fluctuating with the changes of the scenes.





 最后,由两位女生饰演的“料理纪录片”情景剧给现场带来了或惊呼或大笑的互动感。通常我们看到的料理教学都是耐心且详细的,但一反常态的是舞台上的两位“大厨”都对料理有着一种“近乎偏执的暴躁教学态度”:对计时器的声音感到慌张,被刀具切到手时的惊呼,暴力挤压番茄酱的动作,以及最后混乱成果的自信展现。将一场“闹剧”把握有度地自信呈现并不是一件简单的事情。

Finally, the "cooking documentary" drama performed by two girls brought the audience an interactive sense of exclamation or laughter. Usually those who teach cooking are very patient and pay attention to details, but on the contrary, the two chefs on the stage took a "near-paranoia" attitude toward cooking: they were panic about the sound of timers; they screamed when their hand was cut by a knife; they violently squeezed out ketchup, and they were even confident of the final mess they had made. It was not easy to present a “farce” in such a confident way.



作为一位观众和参与表演的学生,我认为戏剧表演的魅力在于表演者和观众契合的时刻,观众因为戏剧而发笑,而思考;表演者沉浸式地认真展示且不被现场的突发状况而影响,这就是彼此之间最舒适的碰撞。戏剧节是一场有视觉冲击和灵魂碰撞的表演,每个人都在表演中有所收获。

As a member of both audience and performers, I think the charm of drama performance lies in the moment when the performer and the audience identify themselves with each other; and the audience laugh and reflect because of the drama. If performers become so absorbed in acting as not to be affected by any emergency on the scene, then the most comfortable collision between each other will be achieved. Drama Festival is a performance filled with visual impact and soul collision. Everyone has benefited something from the performance.
