SHBS 2020 Art Festival Closing Ceremony, an audio & visual feast
2020年最后一个寒冷的月。12月23日，一早，SHBS迎来了它的艺术节。老师、同学还有家长齐聚一堂，享受一场师生同台的艺术大宴。
On the morning of Dec. 23rd, in the last month of 2020, SHBS concluded its Art Festival in the school auditorium, where teachers, students and parents gathered to enjoy wonderful shows presented by teachers and students.
师生和家长们上午九点钟到礼堂入座，脸上都洋溢着灿烂的微笑。乐队用Creep为艺术节闭幕式演出开场。
Faculty members, teachers, and students took seats in the auditorium with big smiles on their faces. The band played “creep” to start the show.
主持人柏文宣、李瀚哲、孔令恒、李嘉芸宣布艺术节表演开始。
Lee, Michael, the hosts and Amber, Charlotte, the hostesses, announced the opening of the art festival closing ceremony.
今年的艺术节比往年更加热闹，节目形式更加多样。有行政班集体节目，有个人报名的组合节目，也有课程形式的节目如太极班的表演，还有社团名义组织的节目，如舞蹈社、击剑社等节目。
The shows this year are quite dynamic and diversified, including not only individual performances but also homeroom shows, class shows, club shows, and so on.
王万友老师带领着“Wang”姓8位师生同台表演苗族舞蹈《弥渡山歌》。一袭苗家衣着鲜艳亮丽，舞动的老师和学生给大家带来了特别欢快的时光。
Led by Mr. Wang Wanyou, 8 teachers and students who shared the family name “Wang” performed an interesting dance named “Folk Chant of Midu”. They were dressed in brightly colored Miao ethnic costume, and gave the audience so many happy moments with their movements and postures.
之后，宏润博源的七位天王天后们用不同的音色音调呈现歌曲串烧。
Then, seven students presented us a medley with their respective distinctive voices.
今年班集体节目很有创意。
This year, all the homeroom classes brought the audience very creative shows.
1001班轻快有趣的舞蹈《可爱摆》，表达对2021的热情；预备1班以舞蹈《我真的很不错》为未来的自己加油；1101班的同学为大家带来荧光舞串烧，颇具创意；当1003班的扭着秧歌儿，转着红帕子热情地展示新年的喜庆，全场欢叫声响起！预备3班将塑料杯子作为乐器，给大家带来了Cup Song.
HR 10.1performed a lively and funny dance named Lovely Dance, showing their enthusiasm for the coming 2021; HR Gpre-1 cheered themselves up for future challenges with a dance named “I am so good”. HR 11.1 brought the audience a Florescence Dance by wearing colorful florescent sticks. The audience shouted cheers when HR 10.3 performed their folk dance named “Yangko Show” while rotating red handkerchiefs with their fingers to celebrate the new year. HR Gpre-3 presented us a creative Cup Song by knocking cups at the desks in different ways.
1103班的合唱《圣诞歌曲串烧》来庆祝圣诞的到来，为欢迎2021增添一份热度！1004班用一曲 All of Me 回忆2020这一年里发生种种事情；预备2班用合唱There for You 告别2020；1002班不愧是理科老师班级，将水果变成了钢琴键，演绎了《Cyber piano 2077 赛博钢琴2077》；即将毕业的1201 & 1202班学长学姐们带来舞台剧&综合剧表演；1102班的 Coincidance 视频给大家带来了不一样的美和惊喜。
HR 11.3 celebrated the coming Christmas with a Christmas song medley, arousing our enthusiasm for the arrival of 2021. HR 10.4 sang us a song named All of Me, bringing back all the memories of 2020; HR Gpre-2 said good bye to 2020 with a chorus named There for You. HR 10.2 deserved to be a class led by a science teacher. They presented us a unique show named “Cyber piano 2077” with fruits as piano keys. Seniors from HR 12.1 & 12.2 performed skits. HR 11.2 ignited the audience with its ingeniously crafted video Coincidance.
个人节目也经过了组合和编辑, 歌剧《茶花女》，钢琴独奏《爱之梦》，小提琴和钢琴协奏《梁祝》和吉他弹唱《忽然之间》特别流畅地串在一起；张庭辉的钢琴伴奏，葛昕睿和林政晔的小提琴和符嘉元的美声让我们领略古典音乐的优雅；陈柏翰，龙海霖，丁振宜，党浩淼，杨书恺，李瀚哲和华子昂带来的不一样的说唱，《爱死在一夜》，《晚风》，《闪电侠简介》和《山海Remix》，让人耳目一新；刘宇凯和孔令恒带来的相声《四大名著》让观众笑声不断。
Individual programs were also combined and edited：opera accompanied by piano; classic melody Liangzhu rendered by piano and violin; guitar solo and singing; different styles of rap and cross talk. All brought the audience lots of joy.
有些表演很柔，崔瀚文的古琴曲《良宵引》和魏昊佳的古典舞《大鱼》，让人如痴如醉，静和动相得益彰；
There were also soft and gentle shows, such as the “Hepticord: Sweet Night Primer”performed by Amanda Cui and the dance named “Dayu”presented by Alice Wei. They enchanted the audience with their powerfulness and gentleness.
看到不少舞台“新秀”奉献才艺。俞尚廷弹唱《多想在平庸的生活拥抱你》讲述自己的2020；音乐B班同学用Boomwhackers的方式带来《bad guy+ Havana+ old town road》；音乐A同学合唱《see you again》；DANCE CLUB的舞蹈《daddys》点燃剧场，将气氛带到了又一高点；小杨老师带领师生4人，红袖长舞，美到极点。
Many rising stars also showed their talents on the stage. Ting Yu sang us a song named “How I want to embrace you in this mediocre life” to a guitar melody played by himself, telling us his own 2020; Students from Music B brought us “bad guy+ Havana+ old town road” in the form of Boomwhackers; Students from Music A sang a chorus named “see you again”; the dance club heightened the atmosphere in the auditorium by bringing us a dance named “Daddys”; a group of dancers, including both students and teachers led by Ms. Becky Yang, performed the “Classical Jing Hong Dance” by waving their long and red sleeves, giving us beauty beyond description.
击剑社把击剑守规的以故事的形式展示，击剑手好酷;
The fencing club presented us “ Performance Art: SFE”, in which they showed us that fencers should obey the game rules by telling us a story. Those fencers were so cool!
体育舞蹈班的同学用《say my name》来展示青春的活力；
Students from the dancing class showed us their vigorous youth by performing a dance named “say my name”.
太极班的同学个个面部严肃，宛如刚刚闭关修炼出来的大师。
Students from Taiji Class performed “Defeat in five, conquer in eight” for us. Each of them looked serious as if they were masters of Taiji after years of training and practice.
能量俱乐部用舞台剧的形式来追溯曾经的历史。
The Energy Club reviewed history by bringing us a drama named “Their Whisper”.

随着《Hey Jude》铃铛声声敲响，Joshua老师最先上场，接着是Chris和Bowen校长，同学们熟悉的班主任、任课老师啊，场上有了笑声；随后又一队女教师上场，边唱边挥动圣诞小帽，最后，大家几乎站了起来，挣着抢着天空里落下来的糖果。
With the melody of “Hey Jude” going on, Mr. Joshua was the first to sing on the stage. He was followed by Principal Chris and Bowen. Students greeted their familiar homeroom and subject teachers with cheers and laughter. Next, a group of female teachers walked onto the stage, singing and waving Christmas hats in their hands. Finally, almost everyone stood up to cheer and to get he candies tossed by Principals.
一场视觉和听觉的盛宴，带来美和激情，带来享受和奋进，为SHBS欢呼，舞台永远是青春靓丽！
Such an audio & visual feast brought us enjoyment of beauty, passion, and gave us inspiration. Let’s cheer for SHBS. SHBS stage always belongs to youth and beauty.
2020艺术节在欢庆和喜气洋溢的气氛中宣布闭幕！新年的钟声响起，由远而近！期待中我们走向新年！
The 2020 Art Festival was successfully concluded in a joyful atmosphere. The bells for the new year are approaching! We are looking forward to the new year!
附：为了本场会演，幕后的工作人员，尤其本届学生会成员，从第一次的准备，到最后的验收，辛苦付出，没有一丝松懈，全然投入。同时参与表演的人员也很辛苦，诠释了什么是“台上一分钟，台下十年功”，从一开始不熟练和不完美，到最后的自如自在，都是他们每一天努力的结果。
In order to bring us a wonderful performance, the back-stage staff, especially members of our ASB, worked hard consistently and devotedly, from the first rehearsal to the final acceptance check. Meanwhile, just as the saying goes, one-minute show on stage depends on ten years of efforts and practice off the stage. Those performers also made great efforts by refining their programs day by day to achieve the best.

The successful conclusion of SHBS 2020 Art Festival Closing Ceremony depended on everyone’s great efforts. Thanks should go to everyone. Meanwhile, all the faculty members and students of SHBS wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new 2021!
