On 10th April, all four of our student ambassadors departed for the UK. They will be met by the Headmaster and his wife upon arrival on campus.
We wish them a successful start to their new chapter in the UK. We will continue to monitor their progress and share updates on the exciting life of the children at Bromsgrove School UK.
Continuing from our previous interview with Tracy and Sarah, we are joined today by Hugo Wang and Catherine Li from Prep 6!

「Hearts of Gold」
Humourous little footballer
The last time we saw Hugo perform was at last year's Christmas assembly. He took part in a sketch with his classmates and although he had no lines, he received a lot of applause for his excellent performance. Hugo played the role of a wacky 'alien' and his quirky facial expressions and exaggerated gestures made the audience laugh! In real life, he is also a very interesting and likeable kid!

Hugo's Banzhuren, Ms Cai, described him as 'a barrel of laughs'. He brings joy to his classmates and has a positive and optimistic attitude that makes him popular. When asked about the reason for his popularity, he humbly replied, 'Maybe it's because I'm funny, that's what they all say.'
Hugo's sociable nature is one of his strengths. However, his friendly and innocent approach in dealing with others may the true reason. We asked Hugo's friends what they thought of him and the most common response was, 'He's great to his friends!'
On the day of the shoot, we went with Hugo to a football CCA session. As soon as the boys saw him, they shouted his name and urged him to join the game. Like previous student ambassadors Richard and Oscar, Hugo is a member of the school's football team and has represented BMH in several inter-school competitions. Despite his small stature, he is very agile and his skills are highly regarded by his teammates. He mentions that playing football has improved his stamina and helped him make new friends. He is looking forward to enhancing his skills and building new relationships at BSUK.

The 11-year-old "big sister"
Every day during break time, we often see Catherine playing with the younger students somewhere on campus. The children call her "Sister Catherine" and tell her their stories or play games with her. On the mixed-age campus, this 11-year-old girl has gained a lot of popularity and love, and has gradually become a trusted "big sister".
In Catherine's school reports, her teachers also often describes her as 'well-loved', 'trustworthy', and 'popular'.

During one of the breaks, the students played volleyball in the playground. Catherine had a great time and cheered happily whenever she received a ball from a classmate or her team won a point. She said she loves playing with her classmates, and even though she doesn't play very well, she always enjoys the time.
When asked about their impressions of each other, Catherine commented that she thinks Hugo is a person who has a lot of good friends, and he treats his friends very well.
Hugo replied that he thinks Catherine is the same way and treats her best friends better than he treats his.
Appreciating others and showing kindness, Catherine and Hugo, the popular students at BMH，have hearts of gold.
At BMH, we value the diversity of our students and strive to provide them with ample opportunities to explore their interests. We believe that the Student Ambassador programme will enable more students to broaden their horizons and discover new opportunities in life.
On 15 April UK time, the four student ambassadors will begin their day with an exciting assembly at Routh hall! Following this, they will embark on a campus tour led by BSUK enthusiastic students, enjoy a delightful coffee break with the headmaster of BSUK, receive a detailed introduction to the GCSEs/A level/IB/University destinations, and indulge in a delicious lunch at canteen .......
