走进观澜中心学校！双融双促共成长 | The BMH GCS Collaboration

为了更好地落实《关于2021-2022年度选派优秀共产党员到民办学校担任第一书记的工作方案》，实现党建与业务双融双促，第一书记熊波同志组织柏朗思观澜湖学校（BMH）的教师代表团访问观澜中心学校（GCS），正式启动两校的合作。

整个下午我们行程紧凑，在课室观摩了精彩的数学、中文和英文课，并参观了学校。

在参观过程中，我们还有幸看到了观澜中心学校学生精彩的艺术周展演及校本课程，他们向我们展示了精彩的艺术、音乐和舞蹈。

在随后沃尔博士、张教授、熊书记与观澜中心学校副校长侯晓春同志的讨论中，我们达成共识，今后将会组织英语、中文、数学和戏剧等学科合作，我们相信两所学校都能学习到对方所长。此前我们已经举行了道德和物理学科方面的示范课，之后也将会在戏剧和英语方面进行类似的课程学习活动。

感谢我校第一书记熊波同志促成了这次交流的机会，与会人员都对我们的共同努力所带来的良好效果给予了非常积极的评价，并由衷期待我们接下来的合作。

On Wednesday 8th December, as part of the Longhua Education Authority initiative to pair up Private and Public Schools, First Secretary Xiong organized for a delegation of teachers from Bromsgrove School Mission Hills (BMH) to visit Guanlan Central School (GCS) to formally launch our collaboration.

In an action packed afternoon, we attended some excellent lessons in Mathematics, Chinese and English before going on a tour of the school. 

During the tour, we were fortunate enough to see the grade 2s preparing for their Arts Week as well as witnessing some great Chinese Art, Chinese Music and Chinese Dance activities.

In our ensuing discussion with Deputy Head Master, Mr Ho, Dr Wall and Professor Zhang we agreed to organize subject by subject collaboration in English, Chinese, Maths and Drama where we believe each school can learn from the other. We have already held some demonstration lessons in Morality and Physics and now move on to similar lessons in Drama and English.

Dr. Wall, Mr. Ho, Professor Zhang, Ms. Xiong and Mr. Chana all spoke very positively about the potential benefits we expect will flow from our collective efforts and we thank First Secretary Ms. Xiong for facilitating such opportunities.
